NCAA Field of 68 + NIT Auto Bids

Nevada & TX Southern both won to win their tourneys. Good for the NIT chances. (y)

Also, thanks to Larry Eustachy for being him. Drew a very costly technical in the final minutes that helped Nevada a lot.

New Orleans wins the southland bid as the 1 seed.

Cal St Bakersfield (with Boulder native Brent Wrapp at the PG) looking good in the second half of the WAC title game as the 1 seed.

Bakersfield & Irvine winning or losing tonight could decide our fate.

We're on the NIT bubble for sure. Big West tourney championship game went to Cal-Davis, one more spot lost.

And Bakersfield lost to NM State. Add that to Akron getting upset by Kent State yesterday. It's not looking good. Princeton better win today.

This is a challenging position to be in, waiting to see if we've squeezed into the NIT.

Shrinking the NIT field to 32 is what makes it tough. If it was still at 64, CU would be a stone cold lock.

Every NIT bracketology shows us in, but as a 6-7 seed. We are definitely on the bubble.

Hoping for both USC and Cal to the Dance. That would show the Pac-12 is getting respect today (and mean $$$ for the conference). Utah and CU to the NIT.

Troy wins the Sun Belt.

Just waiting for the Big Ten (14 min left) and AAC (halftime) to finish up.

Michigan beat Wisconsin for the B1G title. That should keep any team from that conference off the first 4 seed lines.

Michigan beat them by 15 ... an 8th seed beat both of the two highest seeds.

Looks like CBS got the memo about last year's selection show being a disaster. Getting right to it.

Condoms have to play in a first four game ... at least they made it.
