The outdoor NCAA track and field championships will begin tomorrow and run through Saturday at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. I'll try to provide some play-by-play throughout the week and updates on the Buffs competing, although I might be late on Wednesday because of class. The Buffs competing are: freshman Ben Saarel and junior Jake Hurysz in the men's 1500 meters, junior Blake Theroux in the men's 3000 meter steeplechase, senior Joe Bosshard in the men's 10,000 meters, senior Shalaya Kipp in the women's 3000 meter steeplechase, sophomore Carrie Verdon in the women's 5000 meters, and senior Emily Hunsucker in the women's hammer throw.
ESPN Networks will cover every day of the meet, with Wednesday and Thursday being broadcast on ESPN3, starting at 3:55 p.m. PT. Events on Friday and Saturday will be broadcast live ESPNU starting at 4:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., respectively.
