feel for the next coach that ****s up on MM's watch. They will be fired on the spot immediately

The only rating system I've known my adult life is 1-I'd **** em, 0-I wouldn't.

If you're curious, this puts MM in the 0 category.

Does leadership step up, defend their subordinates and break the false narrative? By staging their feet the regents have allowed the story to grow and fake news to spin it. Time to see if CU has dynamic leadership.

Now that the Regents have directed the Pres BB to chime in, I guess we'll finally hear from him on this issue. He's been silent in the press and donor circles thus far.

Time line
- Dec 2016 - Victim intitiates contact with HCMM, HCMM contract extension announced, TRO issued. Bowl game
- Jan 2017 - SI article published.
JT employment suspended, then terminated. JT arrested.
HCMM salary decision deferred.
HCMM, ADRG, CPD issue public statements that indicate processes need to be improved.
- Feb - DiStefano initiates outside review and pledges results of investigation to be made public
- Mar - $$$$ & time investigating
- Apr - $$$$ & time investigating
- May - Regents meeting - Directs PBB to recommend process. Withholds legal review due to privacy concerns. Pushes decision on HCMM contact further out
- Jun - JT trial scheduled to begin

The CU Admin just cannot find a way to stand behind the AD. You actually can look for improvement in handling legal/personnel matters AND support one of the functioning departments of the University.

The admin seems to only be able to react to a crisis with the gee, let's hire somebody to tell us what to do, kowtow to PC pressure and strongly consider throwing said department under the bus if the heat gets too hot.

Just wait for the Tumpkin trial to begin in a month. The timing of the HCMM contract announcement and the potential release of the investigation summary all coming out at the same time has the potential to be a media feeding frenzy. That has some potential to be a huge buzzkill just in time for pre-season football hype.

A trial seems particularly unlikely considering the circumstances of the case.
