In a hindsight is 20/20 / counter factual world, I see him playing a lot for the Buffs right now if he were here.

This. That parcel of ground is insanely valuable and the return they could get from running a liquor store - even a successful one - pales in comparison. The owners are cashing out.

Yeah, I think its going to be condos with street level retail, but I could be wrong on the retail part.

he's making one of the top CUAD sponsors happy and probably fulfilling a contractual stipulation with those.

The Owners sold it quite a while ago. It was bought in 2016 from the Liquor Mart owners for $9M, and they leased it back. The new owner turned around and sold it for almost 2x in 2018.
