That would have been a monster upset. Would have been great, but it isn't like anyone was expecting PSU to win that game.

Yeah. Even with the loss, PSU improved 5 spots to #67 in RPI. But they would have jumped to Top 50 if they'd won.

Northern Colorado beat E Washington. Any win by them is a bonus this year.

Hampton's game at TX Southern got cancelled. I'm not sure that's a bad thing for us. TX-S is 1-11 with the #323 RPI.

Portland's in a tough one at San Francisco. Down 2 with 5 minutes left. Would be a nice road win for them.

BYU at St. Mary's at 9pm on ESPNU. That's a great game. I'll watch the 2nd half after the ball drops in NY and my wife goes to bed at 10.

Portland turned its 11 point halftime lead into a 12 point loss. Horrible defensive effort tonight, which seem par for the course for them this year.

New Year's Day games we care about:

COLORADO (11-2) at Cal (10-3) -- 9:00, PACN... Cal favored by 7.5 . NO RESPECT! GOT TO EARN IT!

Western Illinois (7-4) at Omaha (8-6) -- no tv... late in the 1st half. Opener in the Summit and a big game in the conference.
#21 Utah (11-2) at Stanford (7-4) -- 7:00, ESPNU... hope for 10 overtimes so Furd's worn out for our game against them.
USC (11-2) at Washington State (8-4) -- 7:00, PACN... should find out a lot more about both of these teams tonight.
#25 UCLA (9-4) at Washington (8-4) -- 9:00, FS1... Vegas doesn't seem sure about the Bruins with UW favored by a point.

Omaha got the win by 2. Nice. Now #161 RPI. I think that win will end up being a "quality win" on the resume at the end of the season.

If Stanford and/or Washington win, it will be a sign this year's Pac is completely out of control. Might have to make the winner with a 12-6 record, the last place team with 5 or 6 wins and everyone else between 7 and 11

Stanford has fought back into it. You can attack Poeltl on the defensive end. He's sitting on the bench with 4 fouls as stanford has tied it up.
