Other Games 8/31 - 9/4

Thought McCall transferred out of Coastal Carolina but he didn't. I wouldn't be so hard on UCLA in that case.

Obviously CU vs TCU was a great game regardless of rooting interest. Outside of that, this has been the worst weekend of college football I can remember. Awful matchups, almost all chalk blowouts, zero compelling games or storylines.

This sport has so much room to make more money but something has to be done about scheduling.

totally agree. dismal slate overall. other than CU-TCU, not much. tried to get excited for S Carolina-UNC since that's a fun border/identity game idea and i am fascinated by Spencer Rattler. I have NEVER seen a CFB player who is as easy to tackle as him. paper doll, down on any contact. great arm, middling decisions, so easy to tackle. but, that wasn't much.....gotta give Mack some credit.

i wasn't that surprised to see WYO beat Tech. Cowboys are kinda my team from the old MWC. No reason, just find myself pulling for them over the years. great logo, have had some good times in Laramie and wearing brown takes some moxie to pull off. heh.

Texas Tech-Wyoming was entertaining.

Props to the pokes.

fun fact: JT Daniels started for Rice against Texas. USC, UGA, Pitt, WVU, Rice.

JT has started for 3 different teams against Texas at DKR.

and speaking of "JT's".....JT Shrout started for Ark State against OU. 12-26. how far we have come.....LOL. love it.

Seeing some controversy over Penn State "running up the score" by punching in a late touchdown against WVU (final score 38-15).

I damn well hope that Coaches Prime and Lew play things the same way. That's how you develop the 2nd unit and your QB2 - by letting them run the damn offense. Sure, you go a bit more run heavy and maybe slow the pace slightly - but you let them run the damn offense.

No significant upsets so far this week.

Fresno (MWC) beats Purdue (B1G) 39-35.

Boise giving Washington a game.

CU is the game this week that everybody will talk about all season.
How do you feel about Texas St v Baylor?

In general, I felt like the Big XII looked like shyte. Even most of the teams that won still struggled.

Staub needs to see a good chunk of the 2nd half against CSU.
