True dat. Well the part about our record at least. Dragging ourselves out of the cellar of the PAC 12 North is always an incentive, but clearly getting bowl eligibilie was huge. But being Cal we have at least a dozen posters who are convinced we won’t get a bid unless we win 7 games. They are certifiably out of their minds given the number of bowls and Cal’s size, but a lot of losing over a lot of years will make you a bit unhinged.

can't remember UCLA-USC offering "less" as a big rivalry to an impartial college football fan viewer. no buzz at all. at least not here at my house in western New Mexico
 
Big 10 football is dull, worse than our game.

Somehow nebraska is now up on Michigan State 9-6

If you think the stadium in Boulder is empty just looked at the CSU game. They could probably fit everyone into Fort Collins HS stadium with room to spare.
