Halfway decent QB play tonight and the Buffs are winning by 2 touchdowns.
Cody Hawkins just is not a very good QB right now.

Please bench Cody. Please.

I think Cody is a great practice player. He knows our defense and can exploit it well (just like every one else). Send in Hansen. His only drawback is his reads, but he gives us a great weapon with his feet.
Fact is, Hansen doesn't fit the offense we run.
if we ran an offense where the QB's feet were a weapon - he'd probably be a nice QB. But with this offense, he's a liability, not a weapon.

Then modify the offense so it fits Hansen.

What offense? Speedy is the only ray of sunshine.
Straight up truth. This is why Hansen will never be the answer. If hawk was a guy that could tailor his system to his players instead of the other way around Hansen might do some good things. At this point we have to hope against hope that Clark Evans comes out next year and blows everyone away because if not... get ready for year 4 of Cody starting. He is a massively gutsy player but he is the motor of the offense and principally responsible for why we lose twice as many games as we win. Defenses don't respect him. They know he doesn't have even half of the skill set a QB needs at this level. Heart is not enough.
And why the phuck is cody only throwing the ball to Scotty?
Since Cody is a known commodity, and has proven for certain that he can't QB at a D1 level, you absolutely have to see what Hansen has. I know about the dustup, but next week and from here forward, Hansen should play the rest of this season.

You're right - having no feet, no receptions except McKnight, and lots of INTs is much better. Leave Cody in, at least other programs will feel sorry for us.
Yeah, I'm with you.
At least Hansen gives opposing coaches something to worry about.
Not from the bench he doesn't.
That's kind of the point, bro.
The point is - he isn't going to phucking play. Get it through your head.
The announcers on espn (including CU alum Chris Fowler) can't help but say what a $hit qb we've got. Awesome.
