Opinions -- good or bad?
If they figure out a way to sell beer, good. Otherwise, who really gives a ****?
I do. RG is committed to improving the game day experience and actually bringing in quality concessions is part of that process. Yes, we all want beer. The obstacle to that is well above RG's head. But I'd like to enjoy foodie food in a foodie town.
I do. The current way they do concessions sucks ass.
Another step in the right direction. I'll be happy if they actually remember to have hot chocolate available when it's freezing cold (and don't run out).
When it comes to "fan experience", it's not any one thing. It's about all the things working together. Concessions is a key piece to the puzzle.
so the only thing I have experience with on the list is the Kentucky Derby and the concessions are pretty well run for the sheer amount of people they have there.
Every little thing helps.
I'm sure that agreement took up a lot of RG's time, too. There is a ton to think about with that within the current scope and the changes that will occur at Folsom with the new facilities and over a 10-year term.
woo hoo! 20 dollar hot dogs!
Very Good, Levy is a top shelf concessionaire
Did Kyle Ringo write what was in the OP or was it a CU press release?
Because there's a Camera article by Kyle Ringo that repeats it exactly but doesn't cite anything. If it's his writing, we should credit.
it was the press release from the SID per Adam. Oh Ringo.
I guess he edited it. http://www.dailycamera.com/cu-college-sports/ci_25319516/cu-buffs-partner-new-concessions-provider-folsom-field
Next step: fire Argus, starting with the guy who stands in front of my section.
It is a good move. The concessions now are bad. They take a long time to serve you and many of them of out of stuff early in the game.
Maybe the basketball Club Room will be a little better run as well now.
that would be nice. always came off as so amateurish. You could tell they were getting bad feedback because it changed throughout the year.
Add some Cash only bars to teh current suite of bars.
and of course, concourse beer!
I tried buying concessions twice last year and they couldn't accept cards before the game. Fail. RG doing work
When did they start selling beer in the basketball club room?
Flat screen TVs in the concourse and hospitality suites.
Roughly when Tad invented basketball in Colorado.
Exactly. I always bring cash now because seems like their CC machines were never running. Also, running out of hot dogs, fail!
Can they replicate their levels of service and quality at a reasonable price at Folsom?
there is no beer in the club room, just yellow beer flavored piss water.
It's not the bad concessions that are keeping people away. By bother changing?
Separate names with a comma.
