Todd Saliman is Sole Finalist for CU President

I know someone "in the know' who also knows him. They says he's a nice guy who will be in way over his head.
The likelihood is being that sports, exclusively football is driving academics in many P5s and even some G5s, he probably realizes, if you want to get the best students, a great football team helps tremendously. Many students look to see how good is the sports in particular the football. That goes for males and females.

That someone in the know could be right but there is a reason they chose him. They needed someone who can get this boat on the right track and sports is driving schools to get 90 million per season TV deals.
