Who is your all-time favorite CU running back?

That was one of the most accurate movies depicting my HS time.
« We had that night too but we didn't paddle them, got them ****ed up unless they were just a smartass or something. For the most part everybody got drunk as hell and there would be a bunch of brawls, stuff like that.

That's what they said coming to Boulder, Idk if it's true or not. Oh and we start playing them again for a few games next year I think.

I took my son to San Diego a couple of years ago, when USC played them in a bowl game. Their fans were very well behaved there. Friendly. It may be a whole different story when it's them against a league foe, or ex, in CU's case.

"Sal is dead. Go Big Red."

There's an element that is absolutely deplorable.

For the most part, though, I find them absolutely boring with no sense of humor. They take 3 things in life way too seriously and there's really no way to interact with them like normal people because they don't have much interest in other topics and have absolute religious zeal about their big 3: corn, corn-fed beef, and Nub football.

What about the sign on Mac's 30 for 30, "Where is Sal now?" Plus treatment of his daughter, I know I'd be ashamed of that.

I think this is a midwest football problem. When I went to Ann Arbor last season, I was waiting in line for the bus back to the hotel after the game and this lady behind us was being very complimentary about how CU played and how many CU fans there were. She then proceed to call Chip pathetic and rude because he was on the field making fun on Harbaugh. I asked how exactly Chip, the mascot who can't talk, was making fun of Harbaugh. "He was wearing khakis and a sweater vest on the sidelines"

I then realized just how ridiculously seriously those people take Michigan football.

There is also the Grandma Story. Seemingly every kNebraskan is related to some grandma who was (depending on which version of the story they tell) kicked/punched/shoved so hard she flew down 4/6/8/10 rows of bleachers. Then when security came nothing happened to the drunk CU fan (in some versions the drunk CU fan pissed on the elderly to start the altercation) and the grandma was escorted out.

If you bring any elderly relatives to boulder, do so at your own risk.

The "Sal" thing is horrible. Not being from the CU fan base, I had no idea about this. Some people can be really shi*ty in their enthusiasm for their team. They forget all manners...that's if they ever had any.

I'd bring my Grandma, but wouldn't know where to set the urn, to keep it out of the way.

Get what ya mean, im not goona come up there for that. The folks on this board have been nice for the most part. I'm gonna come up because I've always wanted to.

With an exception or two, all of the people on this board have been very cool. I've enjoyed the conversations here.

I'll wait to decide until Lindsey finishes his career at CU. But for now, Rashaan would be my favorite.

Marlon Barnes. I also feel like Kevin Moyd could have been good had Hawkins not been the coach and played favorites...

Off topic and dude didnt go to CU but had a question. Any of you guys remember Darnell McDonald? Think that's the right name. I remember one day after practice, I was watching SSA and he was a Colorado HS rb. Whatever happened to that guy, I wanna say he ended up playing baseball? He was damn good at football though.

Played baseball in college for Texas IIRC. Never made it to the majors.

decided to turn pro in baseball instead of heading to Texas actually. His brothers were also drafted straight out of CCHS. Darnell had a 10 year baseball career. Was a journeyman but did start some games for the red sox
