BEER NOW SOLD IN FOLSOM (also, six hours of tailgating now possible)

I really cant believe they made this move, I probably go to one more game this year because of it. Just awesome news.

rick george is the man! my six season tickets will be renewed like clockwork win or lose!

RG is crushing it.

RG is sure helping out the football team anyway he can.

1) Student Fan Group for football set up the Folsom Frenzy
2) BEER SOLD IN THE STADIUM!!!!!
3) Better support of Tailgaters
4) New Buff app
5) Upgraded facilities!
That is a ton of improvement!!! :slayer::congrats::congrats:

I am very impressed.

One more idea for RG jump on the Uniform bandwagon already.
Get the kids crazy new uniforms that all of us old guys will hate but the high school kids will love.
Fighting this trend has done nothing for us at all.

I wish this would translate to wins this year, I don't think it will. That said it really does feel like things are turning the corner. I am so tired of the idea that all CU has to do in recruiting is show kids Boulder, yes Boulder kicks the snot out of every damn college town in the country, but football players care about more than that. Letting our facilities slip behind our peers has been borderline criminal, now we are catching up and with RG at the helm it feels like we are on a rocket.

Good things are coming.

Believe

Hey guys, is it safe to assume that you'll have to keep the beer within the beer garden confines?

My guess would be Yes.

Only other school i know that has been in any capacity is WV. It feel like we are finally getting ahead of the curve on something.

tante had a great idea in another thread on how we could express our gratitude.

Donate $10 to the facilities project and in the comment tell the AD thank you for listening to the fans. On twitter promote #BuyRickaBeer

This AD is fighting for what buffnation wants. Easy enough way to support them.

My seats now seem like they're in a primo location for beer access. Right on the aisle that goes straight up to the entrance to Balch

Sucks that I am about 10,000 miles away from the stadium but I am stoked for all you guys that get to enjoy the home game experience more. Totally agree with all those who say RG is rocking, because he is. Now we just need to fix one tiny problem, ****ing win!

We now pause from the pause that refreshes for this announcement from our sponsors:

Bad fan imo.

This is great news. My gut tells me that selection will be limited to Coors, Coors Light, Blue Moon, and Buffalo Gold (which is what they had at Ralphie's Corral last season. I also predict that beer will cost $7.00 per can/bottle, and that it won't be available on tap. I base this entirely on Ralphie's Corral beer garden experience.

They should consider the "season pass" idea they had at Ralphie's Corral last year, where you paid $60 for the season and got 1 beer and 1 meal for each game.

Banned in 1996 from all but premium seating areas of Folsom, that decision driven by the Big 12's teetotaling ways was the first confirmation that CU royally screwed up by not accepting the Pac-12 invite in 1994.

So many wrongs that led to a decline of the program are being righted. The love Coloradans have for beer and what a dry stadium did to fan experience shouldn't be discounted. This is a very big deal and such a vital move for revenue, attendance at kickoff and fan enjoyment.

Good job, RG!!!
