Other games weekend of 11/8

Bob Stoops and OU both need a fresh start.

Stoops might, but if I'm OU I don't welcome him leaving. They could easily get on that cycle of a bad coach or 3, an AD or 2 before they get back to the level they expect to be at.

I don't know what the hell OU is doing unless they are scared of Baylors speed? I mean anybody could get open with a 10 yard cushion.

True. But this is looking bad, three losses in a supposed "playoffs or bust" season.

Stoops blew it by throwing Venables overboard so he could bring in his dumbass brother

OU is getting a beat down. At home.

This was supposed to be "the year" for OU - so a 3-loss season is going to be pretty disappointing.

OU's offensive coordinator is too enamored with the pass, and his QB is not a genuine passing QB. They are loaded at RB, but the OC would rather throw the ball.

I didn't think Venables was that great either, although Mike Stoops might be worse. I dunno, Bob has had an all star list of coordinators come through his program over the years, I think he still has the edge to get the job done, he's just had trouble replacing assistant coaches year after year.

Bigger problem is that he simply hasn't had a great QB in a while.

I think he's missing Kevin Wilson more than anything, he was the old OC who's now making Indiana kinda respectable. I've read a few articles from Smart Football that really praise Wilson and his contributions to the hurry up spread and what he did at OU over 8 years with White, Hybl, and Bradford.

This has been a very bad early slate of games.

Most interesting is probably #22 Duke up 10-3 at Syracuse. But I don't get that because I live in the west. (I'm waiting for some of the folks on this board to go off on how unbelievably ****ty it is that the ACC has a ranked team playing and folks outside their region can't watch it.)

It actually is available on most of the Fox Sports Regional channels, MSG, Root Pittsburgh, and Sun Sports among others. I know most if not all of these are available on Dish and DTV, and I would think that most cable companies carry at least one of these networks. The game is also available ala carte on ESPN GamePlan.

Well I don't get it. Bull**** if I had to switch providers or pay extra fees to watch an ACC game.

aTm up 14-0 early on Auburn.

So early it doesn't matter, but if it holds up it's gonna shake up the polls this week.

You don't get any of those listed in the link I posted? Not disagreeing with you, I just find it surprising that you don't get one of those channels. Anyway, my point is that it's available on numerous networks and also available for purchase on GamePlan if you really wanted it.

Nope. And I've got the sports package on Comcast.

Well if that continues, according to my SEC math, A&M will be thrust back into the top 15 for beating such a quality team, and Auburn will still have an outside shot at the playoff.

In fairness, it should be an 8-team playoff... the 7 teams from the SEC West + Georgia.

What game should I be watching? Damn. Watching asu vs nd

Td asu
