COLORADO v Michigan OFFICIAL Game Thread

I am very proud of this team! subtract 21 points and it is a 1 score game. Punting and covering BUTT were the undoing.

This is a 7-8 win team still with a little bowl game.

UCLA ???

Hopefully this game and the Oregon game are the final Hammer Chiseling they need to be prepared for success.
Welcome to the Fight

UM is young, but Uber talented. Not every team left on the schedule has that talent

They have a good number of RS Juniors and RS Seniors for a young team. Along with talent they have leadership.

We're gonna beat Oregon

I still think the Buffs are a bowl team. Just don't have the horses, and depth is usually highlight on special teams
Have to win 4 more games. This was not a disaster for that objective, other than maybe Sefo's injury, not sure how long a sprain keeps him out?

Lots of tough road games left, plus UCLA will probably be favored in Boulder.

I feel like Arizona State and Oregon State are likely wins.
at Arizona, home against Utah and Wash. St. are good chances to win.
UCLA at home and at USC will be very tough.
at Oregon, and at Stanford will require miracles.

Sprain is possibly the most vague term ever. It means he has anything from some bruising, to a deep bone bruise, to a small tear of a ligament or tendon with some inflammation, all the way up to potentially a near complete tear of an important ligament.

Negative X-rays are the best news we could have hoped for, but they don't say much. He could be out for a couple practices or for 6+ weeks.

We don't have a backup QB. Montez is not even close to be ready. Maybe a Juco or Grad transfer next season.

Parting shot at Michigan...I am sure that Gary and Peppers are top flight Student-Athletes, too bad we missed out on them for our Research Programs :)
Congrats Michigan, we are taking small steps forward.

Take away special teams and we played the #4 team pretty evenly. And maybe we get another score if Sefo doesn't go down. Can't get too down over this one. I still see tremendous progress if the special teams disaster turns out to be a one game anomaly.

Special teams lost this game.
Frazier dropping td and buffs getting to 50 twice no points.

Defense played well but gave up a couple big plays for tds with poor tackling

Montez with no reps looked bad but to be expected. Hooe sefo can heal soon. With him, this team will go to a bowl. Without him?

Looks about right, but I wouldn't be surprised if they drop one of those last 3. Road games are always tough. Wassu could be an offensive juggernaut or a dumpster fire by that time. I think the Utah game is going to develop into a killer rivalry and a lot could be on the line in terms of getting into a bowl or not, or getting into a much better bowl for both teams.

Pulling off the win against UCLA would be huge, and obviously turning the trip to Oregon, USC or Stanford into a win would be freaking amazing.

Any other time in the last 10 years I would have said we lose by 40 to the #4 team in the country away from home. Sefo starts next week I think the ducks are beatable. I still think we are going to a bowl game. This lose sucks but it could have been worse.
