College Gameday Nov 19th?

I think Fox may have effed us here. Although I guess given that they're saying there is a chance for weather next weekend I'd prefer not to have another night game in November.

Hah. Either fan interest is spiking now that they announced the game or we have an unfortunate coincidence. Ticket site is down.

again fox doesn matter... the last three Game days in the pac-12 have all been fox games...

I get the fact they're 10-0 but when will we stop sensationalizing unbeaten teams in nothing conferences? Their entire schedule mirrors the SEC out of conference schedule. They haven't played ANYONE of worth and they'll most likely lose their bowl game.

The order of games that weekend would be
1) Ohio state Michigan
2) Washington Washington state
3) Colorado Utah

Florida Florida state is irrelevant and auburn now has 3 losses and can't win the division.
They aren't going back to the state of Washington and the Iron Bowl is infinitely more ratings worthy than CU/Utah. We should have known better than to get our hopes up for a 2nd Pac 12 Gameday in a row.

Haven't even thought about Buffalo's football team once this entire season until you posted that.

Maybe, but you have to figure at some point ESPN is probably sick of hyping games on a competing network.

They've got no problem hyping LSU-Alabama on CBS every year lol. I thought for some reason WMU was playing on Tuesday again.....

Gameday gets ratings wherever it is, I don't really know what you are talking about. And they would definitely go back to the state of Washington, especially when it is pullman not Seattle. Definitely hurts not to be picked though.

If we win this week, CU / Utah has to be more compelling than another Washington game against WSU coming off a loss. We really need Michigan and Ohio State to slip up though.

They're not coming to Boulder for the Utah game.

Just way too many real rivalries involving highly ranked teams, and they're not all going to lose.

That game is also the day after Thanksgiving.....not on that Saturday, so they're not gonna go there

Yeah, I wouldn't pin much hope to Ohio State losing to a godawful Michigan State team even if the game is in East Lansing.

Apparently some would disagree:

I think many of you "misunderestimate" the strength of the MAC. Teams from that conference beat P5 teams on a semi-regular basis ... just ask Okie Lite this year. While I share the opinion that Boulder next weekend would have been a great choice, I think ESecPN wants to throw some love towards a conference that tends to get short shrift ... and having a team ranked in the Top 25 for the first time in awhile gives them an opportunity to do that.

And yes ... I do admit that I'm a bit biased (Eastern Michigan University, Class of 1993).

It's probably unlikely, but if Michigan or Ohio State trip up then what game is better than a probable top 10 matchup between CU/UU?

Unless Alabama loses to Chattanooga this week, the Iron Bowl is meaningless in the SEC race. Alabama could lose that game and still win the SEC West.

Alabama clinched the West with the Auburn loss yesterday. Sure, it's a sexier game from a ratings perspective, but there's more on the line in our game.

I think Fox picking us for the 1:30 national slot is what sunk gameday. It sucks being the hottest girl in the room sometimes.

Yep. Hyping your business rival's main asset would be a tough pill to swallow.
