WSU/ CU banter way too civil, so I'll get this started...

Is this guy a Udub, Oregon, or Oregon State fan? I couldn't find any breweries from Pullman, so he can't be from WSU bringing that kind of beer smack.

There are some good brews in WA. Red Hook Brewery in Ballard for instance, but most, if not all, are west of the Cascades and not in that god forsaken wasteland known as the Palouse.

Ah, no no no. First off, Red Hook is in Woodinville, moved from it's Ballard location years ago. Second of all, that stuff is swill compared to what you can get in WA. Two Beers, Black Raven, Reubens & Sound all beat the pants of Red Hook.

That said, I agree with the poster above, Oregon tops anything Washington or Colorado do combined.

I prefer California beer, but Oregon is high on my list.

Paradise Creek brewery is in Pullman. It's fairly new, but does some pretty good stuff. At least, it was passably good the couple times I've been there. Pullman's a small town, so what do you expect?

Agreed, I'd put CA above WA as well. I'm actually not that terribly high on WA beer.

Can't say I'm all that familiar with CO beer. I've had Avery, Oskar Blues, Great Divide, Left Hand, and obviously New Belgium. I know there's tons more, but I can only drink what we get up here.

I suspect, much like our former Big 12 brethren, this guy lives nowhere near his alma mater because, well, how could you? You go to college so you don't have to live in places like Pullman.

You should make a roadie. You know, drink our beer, smoke our weed, watch your football team get smacked. It could be fun!

Ska and Dry Dock do okay. @tante

I made the trip back in...'03 (?). But, that was back in my younger days, so I was probably drinking Coors Light for that trip. I remember having a blast in that big open courtyard area after the game though.

Would be a great trip now that my palate has matured. Maybe in 2 years.

NW beer beats the pants off of any rocky mountain water swill. The micro scene in Denver is dumb and you wouldn't know a good beer if it walked up and kicked you in the rocky mountain oysters...
Pfft. I've been to Pullman many times and so far as I remember there is only one lame-ass brewery there. There is a pretty good beer scene- an hour up the road, in Spokane.

Compare that to Boulder, which sports 15 breweries in the city- it's not close. Even if you compare on a per capita basis Boulder leads by a 5:1 ratio.

I'd put the worst 5 breweries in Boulder (probably Walnut, West Flanders, Twisted Pine, and Wildwoods in some order) all on par with Paradise Creek and the best of Boulder is much, much, much better.

Washington pot is low in THC and full of stems and seeds. Colorado pot is pure as gold and will knock ya on your ass! Washington had to let Colorado go first in legalization in order to see how it's done.

DBT changing his colors from the "debil's weed!" in the Amendment 64 thread. My baby's all growns up now!

Ballard, Woodinville, still west of the Cascades. People from Pullman go to Moscow, Idaho for culture. Moscow effin' Idaho is considered a garden spot for Pullman residents, need I say more?
