Bowl projections

I hate how the media is controlling the narrative. They are making everyone justify if Washington is worthy over Penn State. The question should be who gets in from the Big 10, Ohio State or Penn State. Ohio State didn't win their division or conference plus they lost the head to head versus Penn State. I think maybe the top 4 should be Alabama, Washington, Clemson, Penn State. In that order.

I think the only question is whether they drop Ohio State and put PSU in. PSU beat them head to head, ended the season with the same number of wins and won the Big10. That's the decision the committee didn't want to have to make but is the only tough one left. The other 3 teams are locks, IMO.

I don't see any way OSU can be left out with 3 top 10 wins, 2 of them on the road. And their 1 loss was on the road to the Big 10 champion in a game they controlled most of the way.

There's an argument there for sure. PSU has the CCG, head to head and the same number of wins on the year as Ohio state. PSU definitely has an argument, IMO.

Oh yea, PSU definitely has an argument for sure over OSU with being champions of what is clearly the toughest conference this year and the head-to-head win. But at the same time I just can't see OSU getting left out, which is why I think UW could be the odd one out. I see it as 3 teams vying for 2 spots - PSU, OSU, and UW.

4 criteria the committee are directed to use in ranking comparable teams, without guidance on how to weigh the four:
1. Conference Championships
PSU vs OSU: PSU
PSU vs Washington: push
OSU vs Washington: Washington

2. head to head
PSU vs OSU: PSU
PSU vs Washington: push
OSU vs Washington: push

3. performance vs common opponents
PSU vs OSU: push (5-0)
PSU vs Washington: push (1-0)
OSU vs Washington: push (1-0)

4. SoS
PSU vs OSU: OSU
PSU vs Washington: OSU
OSU vs Washington: OSU

How is that SoS option possible?

What is the point of this bowl projection show today if the rankings are already out? We all know who is going.

The criteria to be provided to the selection committee must be aligned with the ideals of the
commissioners, Presidents, athletic directors and coaches to honor regular season success while at the
same time providing enough flexibility and discretion to select a nonchampion or independent under
circumstances where that particular nonchampion or independent is unequivocally one of the four best teams in the country.

When circumstances at the margins indicate that teams are comparable, then the following criteria must
be considered:

Championships won

Strength of schedule

Head to head competition (if it occurred)

Comparative outcomes of common opponents (without incenting margin of victory):ROFLMAO:

I get they want to debate the top 4 for 4 hours. But do the other rankings really need to be delayed 2 hours? **** off ESPN.

As much as I believe in conference championships, I think PSU has to be the odd one out because they got crushed by Michigan. Washington was ahead going into the weekend and had a more impressive win. Maybe if Wisconsin had beaten PSU soundly like the first half looked, but I don't see 2 from the same conference getting in being fair. I'd love for OSU to be left out but they got lucky against Michigan to keep the single loss.

I'm sorry, but moving Florida State past us anywhere near the top 10 is a ****ing injustice. **** this committee.

This dude always looks like his mom just caught him in the cookie jar.

Rece Davis does tougher interviews than anyone on FOXNews or CNN ever does.
