2018-2019 Coaching Carousel..

This is not surprising. Finished with that win against Nevada, which was necessary. 2019 is make or break, though. UNLV is either moving into that new stadium in 2020 with a winning program or a new coach.

(FS) UNLV: UNLV is set to announce that Tony Sanchez will return in 2019, tweets Dan Wolken.

Kind of the opposite right now. Lots of things with recruiting going better with Sanchez and his hiring was driven by boosters who have put a ton into facilities there. So he's getting a chance to tun the corner. But they are committed to football now.

He should go the G5 route for two years and make one last push for P5
This.

Lets also say that I was very pleased that the sheep are keeping Bobo around - of course, I'm not sure they could afford to do anything else at this point.

Leavitt stays at Oregon for one more season, Bobo stays at CSU for one more year. Both underperform expectations, Bobo gets canned, Leavitt takes over in Fort Collins, CU continues to dominate CSU.

I'm looking forward to some quality nik conference realignment posts in ~March

I read that Southern Cal boosters are revolting (haha) and now want to get rid of Swann and Helton.

My only comment on this is that hopefully we have our guy in place if this were to happen. Otherwise, break out the popcorn!

Especially if it is dysfunctionally forcing an offense upon Helton that he doesn't want to run.
They will put up boatloads of points. But they will also be more vulnerable to upsets when the QB has an off day. I think that version of the air raid is pretty high variance, which doesn't really play to USC's talent strengths. They should be trying to minimize variance.

Seems like a classic paying for the name move. He will not suck, but USC can hire anyone they want. Is KK dramatically better than a David Yost or is he the "easy" choice?

What the hell are all their RBs going to do now?

(hopefully transfer to CU)
