I have a similar opinion and I’m not mad. It’s like a free agent in the NFL who left the team who drafted him for a bigger contract with a division rival. I get it, but I will never root for that player to succeed again as a football player in college.
“Not rooting for” is dramatically different between hoping he never plays again and has a meaningless job.

Ha good point. I definitely don’t hope bad things happen in his life. I guess I’m just not someone is going to hope he wins the Thorpe Award so CU looks stupid and won’t really care if he ends up as just a guy at Oregon

Your approach is fair. Others want revenge. Hardens the heart.

I'm not going to cheer for him, he is no longer a Buff.

I can certainly understand him doing it though. I love CU and love the Buffs but frankly if I were a standout HS player and saw what was going on in Boulder it would be hard to turn down other options.

For the guys who are here who came in with the idea of helping build a winner only to see KD take over and kill all hope I can't blame them for going someplace else.

Gonzo is going to get paid enough in the NFL that he can get over feeling bad about going to a rival. To be honest if I were in his situation I would probably do the same thing.

He’s got pride and he’s going to enjoy playing on a team that understands how to win against a clueless program.

Playing for CU was a personal embarrassment.
Lanning will open his eyes to higher level concepts, likely in 3-4 Star system. I bet Oregon ditches boundary and field concepts at CB.

"Lets [sic] finish what we started." Lots of thought went into that. LOFL.

After Spring football concludes, there will be a team celebration awarding 25 walk-ons with scholarships.
I think it will be at the end of fall camp, not spring practice, but yeah.

We're going to look like an FCS team against half of our opponents next year.
