Other Games 10/17 - 10/21

UNLV really struggled to capitalize tonight. 7 scoring drives, but 6 of them were FGs.

Good win for Utah. They still have a tough schedule left.

If they somehow **** the conference out of a CFP bid once again this year, I'm going to camp outside Yormark's house until he convinces the rest of conference to revoke their invite.

Washington with a potential let down game right now. Tied at 0's with ASU in the 2nd q.

I know you aren't asking me but there is no reason for Georgia to not be #1 until proven otherwise. Two national championships in a row earns them that.

I guess?

I got that argument last year because they were legitimately pretty scary all season long. This year just seems off, which is expected because winning three in a row is really damn hard.

UW didn't come ready to play tonight though.

No reason they should be being held scoreless by ASU.

So why would it be laughable to say Michigan is #1 right now?

I simply don't understand where all the Michigan love is coming from. They have beat a ton of lower-tier teams, albeit impressively. UGA has at least beat a decent UK team and destroyed them, and also won a tough rivalry game against a decent Auburn team on the road. And yes Michigan just had a big win in a rivalry game against MSU but MSU is downright terrible.

They still have @Wash, Oregon, and @UofA. If nothing else I hope they smoke the Ducks in Salt Lake.

I also don’t agree that just because they won the last two, they should get the botd.

I didn't see Roddick playing for FSU, I thought he was all that and a biscuit there.
He was out there and got his helmet knocked off and came out. Not sure if anything happened or if he came back in (I switched over to USC vs UU) but he was out there starting.

But they struggled with South Carolina and Vanderbilt

Underperforms in the biggest games. No pretense of defense. Butt kicked by Tulane last year on a national stage. Etc, etc….
I mean, he’s not on the level of Saban or Smart, but nobody else is, either. By your standard, Ryan Day, James Franklin, Jim Harbaugh, and Brian Kelly are all frauds as well.

Lots of talk to right now about Franklin not being able to win when it matters.
It’s a legitimate argument whether some guys are capable of winning a National Championship. Suggesting any of these guys are “frauds” is just strange. You’re talking about top 5-10 coaches in the sport.

If he was more serious about winning he would replace his DC….a pretty obvious step.
