You sound bitter that we're getting destroyed by them.

They wouldn't want any of our players. Rodney Stewart and Douglas Rippy are good examples of that. It's exactly like a CU/CSU game. We simply cannot match up with their speed, athleticism, and pure talent. I'm not saying they're amazing (just like I wouldn't say we're amazing for beating CSU) but you cannot possibly think they're a bad team.

Akron held their own better than we did

Come on Syko - it's all the players' fault. We get some new players in here and all these penalties and all this special teams junk will completely turn around.

[/end sarcasm]

No **** I'm bitter, You happy about this? You can try and rationalize this by saying "we're young" or "we tried". This was not a game that needed to be 34-10 heading into the 4th considering we're playing a team that cannot pass the ball.

We are playing like a team that expects to lose. Players are thinking in the back of their heads, "What is the next thing to go wrong?" and when you think that way you make the next mistake.

Ohio State has plenty of reasons to screw up but they have guys who expect to make the play, expect something good to happen and are ready when it does.

Ohio State is more talented and deeper than we are but the difference in the game isn't talent, it's expectation and attitude. Thanks Hawk. . .

Wheres my poll?

WTF mods, you're getting trigger happy with the moving of threads. The road game thread had nothing to do with Ohio state game

I don't care about their talent or our lack thereof. We should not be losing this badly. We aren't the bad. It is all about the horrid "safe" offense and Hansen along with terrible st play

At least we cna rely on a good season to inject some life into our recruiting... . .. . . . .
