Whats crazy, is looking at that picture, 3 out of those 4 seniors had interest in us, we were able to sign one, and I think we have a shot at Stanley Johnson in 2 years

Xavier just looks like an incredible athlete; there is a picture in the article posted by Snow where X is holding a basketball in front of him. Kid has Michael Jordan-esque hands. IMO, he is the most likely of the incoming guys to contribute next year.

Johnson said he is 6'6 and I think around 210 or 215. That is insane. His is physically ready to play Division 1 basketball next year. Add in the competition level that he played against and you really start liking the pipeline we are getting to mater dei

I am continually amazed at the ability of Tad to find and get in on these guys who we then see make big jumps forward after he has already recruited them.

Lots of kids look really good as Sophs or even Jrs get recruited and commit then don't progress much physically or in their games after. Xavier, like a lot of Boyle's recruits seems to have really come on after Tad was in on him.

Can't wait to see him in Black and Gold.

In the final Scout rankings, XJ is the #12 SF and the #57 recruit in the nation.

:gobuffs:

damn he is great around the basket, with the mid-range and outside game of Jenkins, the defense of Gordon, the post game of Scott (and his ability to run the floor) and the xplosivness of Xavier we have some very talented Freshman coming in

great tape... but he only went left. Not one time did he go with his right. At the next level, he's gonna need to get a bit more ambidextrous.

Met X and Eli Stalzer tonight, real nice kids. They cant wait to get on the court. #IsItNovemberYet

The Mayors locker.... Looks like my room in high school.

I was just thinking the same thing. Sharpes locker basically empty, Xavier's locker neat and organized, the mayor's locker looks like a bomb went off in it.

It's pretty much an open secret now that Sharpe has decided to transfer.
