2015 Uniforms

CU unis sooo hot. That be no 90's look, fool. That's a right here, right now look.

I will enjoy sporting my Dizon jersey every now and again from the Barnett era uni's with our move to something modern (which I advocate). I gave up my Salaam jersey when he came out and publicly admitted he got on the weed and wasn't working out hard enough, costing him his pro career. I regret recycling that jersey at this point, but it felt right at the time.

*then I realized it was Skid posting this whole time*

Current/wannabe (not Watanbe) 90s jersey is meant for the old loose, mesh jersey. It doesn't fit the sleek design of modern unis.

The Hawkins era was awful. I do like incorporating silver in some way but didn't go well the way they did it.

Barnett era was boring but the black on black was mean looking. A black helmet then would have been downright scary.

I look forward to a new look. New unis have brought on worse 4 years in CU history.

If it means better recruiting and more winning they can do whatever they want to the uniforms.

Well, I can't think of a better reason to wear a ****ing scarf, can you? Literally, I can't think of another context in which to wear one.

I didn't realize scarves were such a hated piece of cold weather apparel. I thought they just kept you warm in style. What say you, resident European, Jens1893?

It's also funny that the people who so adamantly hate the discussion about uniforms are the ones who feel so strongly about wearing a scarf.

Why is it funny that someone, like me, who finds the discussion on uniforms sad and embarrassing also hates scarves? I find both totally emasculating in the exact same way. It seems entirely consistent to my way of thinking.

I lived in Italy for several years and The Netherlands too. I've seen Europeans and their scarves. I was continuously embarrassed for them.

I think Orr is an ascot guy.

How do you feel about ties? I've always wondered why/how that has continued to be a tradition.

Great question. Ties make no sense, yet I wear one, most days.

Ties aren't designed to keep my delicate neck warm. They're designed to be uncomfortable, therefore I don't find them threatening.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to weave my hairshirt.

I totally remember that block that Rashaan threw for Sefo! It was awesome!

Ralphie's horn was gold, now it's white.
CU was block, now it's italic
Helmets were never black. Now they are
Was Russle. Now Nike
Shirts were mesh below shoulder pads. Now fabric is hi tech
No numbers were on shoulders. Now they are
The shoulder pads are smaller now
Stripes used to go all the way around the arms. Not anymore.
Big 8 logo on shoulder. P12 now on chest

That 1990s look looks so outdated now.
That 2014 look is so modern, fresh, and is an amazing recruiting tool.

I'm just gonna let FLounder address this.
