Williams is not gray shirting.Well if Jacobs or Solomon commits... We'd have 28. GS for McCartney, Peyton Williams and maybe another or someone doesn't qualify.

Do you know this or just speculating? I think he would be a prime grayshirt candidate too, but everything I've seen suggests he's going to try to make it to campus this fall.
Seems like there is some misinformation here and I am no expert but I am pretty sure that early enrollees count against last year's class and GS I believe can be current or next year's as determined by the school. But I also believe you can sign a maximum of 28 in any specific class and I believe with Powell (not including McCartney or Norgard) we are now at 28.
If that is true, than we we can not announce anymore signees unless we convince someone else to GS or someone is ineligible. Not sure what that means about a potential commit from Jacobs and makes it look even more certain that Solomon is not in this class unless he and the staff are considering him for GS.
Need someone smarter than me, but it sounds like even though the scholarship for an EE counts back and for a GS (can) counts forward, the LOI counts towards this year's max of 28 LOIs you can sign.
Is Norgard counting toward this year or last since he enrolled early?
Norgard is counting towards last year. I read it here, somewhere. Maybe a Nik post.
Aren't those the same?We know his scholarship will count towards last year's max of 25 scholarships per class. The questions we seem to not know the answers to are: (1) is there actually a 28 commitment limit and (2) if so, does an early enrollee's acceptance of financial aid count towards this year's 28 limit?

I'll post it here rather in the other silly thread. Solo is not coming here. Period. Not if we have 4 scholarships open. We have been full at the position for a week now. He was told he did not have a committable offer. Move on guys.
