Official Buffs vs. Wazzu Game Thread

****. While that was clearly helmet to helmet contact he led with his shoulder and the helmet to helmet contact was almost incidental. Tough call but by definition of the rule it's tough to argue.
Exactly. The problem is it's totally inconsistent, and refs call it differently depending on their personal feelings of the rule.

Example: this year in the Clemson vs NC State game, Clemson's RB was knocked unconscious from a hit to the head. It's a borderline call, but the defender comes running in with his head ducked down, using the helmet as a weapon.

That play wasn't flagged, wasn't reviewed, wasn't anything...the RB was knocked unconscious on the field, and the refs said "oh well". Meanwhile, hits like that one by Laguda are considered targeting, and the player is ejected.

OK...that was actually good. Get is back about where we had it. Fumble ended up just taking some time off the clock.

announcers got the weather wrong...mos def wasn't 80 in boulder yesterday

Pretty sure he said that when he came into town on Thursday and remarked about the snowy cold weather, someone he spoke too said "believe it or not, it was 80 degrees yesterday" ... and it was.

God, Liufau gets up so slow. The playcalling makes him take such a beating, we have a group of capable running backs no need to call 5-10 QB runs per game.

They're making sure they're getting the most of their opportunities to hit Sefo when he runs.
