What is your ranking for the current, as of July 31, B12 cities/towns that you would want to visit starting in 2024.
Tier 1
None
Tier 2
1) BYU, Provo UT. I can stay in Park City and have only a one hour drive to the game.
2) TCU, Forth Worth TX. I can stay in Dallas and have only a 45 minute drive to the game. I know quite a few kids of friends that have attended TCU so I could see people I know and like.
Tier 3
3) UC, Cincinnati OH. Close proximity during basketball season to Lexington, Louisville, Columbus and Bloomington. Could catch some good hoops games with a little driving.
4) KU, Lawrence KS. Have driven through, and spent the night here on a road trip. Good friend is an alum and promises it is a good college town. Biggest mistake he made was not going into the burger business with his now wealthy brother-in-law who owns 20+ Sonic franchises. Do you miss the Sonic commercials that Fox always showed during CU's previous life in the B12? Me either.
Tier 4
5) UH, Houston, TX. The fourth largest city in the country must have someplace decent to stay and have some decent restaurants. But the weather.
Tier 5
None
Tier 6
6) BU, Waco TX. Whoa whoa whoa, wait on here just a hot minute BJ. **** Bailer. Yes, **** Bailer, but at least we can stay in Austin which is only 90 minutes away and Mrs. Jim can visit Chip and Joanna's store/restaurants.
Tier 7
7a) OSU, Stillwater OK. Middle of nowhere tornado alley, only place to stay within a couple of hours is OKC or Tulsa. Retinas might burn out on a sunny game day with all those Cowboys in bright orange polyester pants.
7b) ISU, Ames IA. Middle of nowhere tornado alley, only place to stay within a couple of hours is Death Moans. At least we could tailgate with A-hole Skin.
Tier 8
9) TTU, Lubbock TX. At least they give fans a bunch of free tortillas.
10) WVU, Morgantown WV. What state names itself "West" when the state it is west of is actually farther west than the state named "West"? I'm a bit nervous that I've ranked this too high. What is someone to do if they need emergency healthcare ? Drive 90 minutes to Pittsburgh?
Tier 9
None
Tier 10
11) UCF, Orlando FL. Lots to do here. Bring bedbug and cockroaches home from the hotel, visit the UCF National Champions museum highlighted by Scott Frost, and see where outer space was invented.
