The 2020 COVID Coaching Carousel

If Steele gets hired, I’d give him 2M max. With high ceiling incentives. And a stringent buyout.

I just feel sorry for whomever has to play Bama next. Nicky Nick hates other people getting the spotlight, especially Lane Train.

Oh. I have a lot of money on the Tide against the Gators? Interesting.

Kevin Steele feels like the Auburn equivalent of CU hiring Leavitt.
No. This is more like they're hoping he's their Ed Orgeron. Orgeron had about as much success as Gus did before he went out and hired Joe Brady.

If they hire Steele, they're gonna regret not putting up with one more year of Gus.

Not at all what my post is saying. If Auburn was consistently top 15 and only occasionally beating Bama, Malzahn is still the coach there.
I'm not so sure. With all the weirdness that alienates boosters due to his wife, Gus has to outperform expectations in order to have job security.

LSU being the defending national champion and A&M having a fairly significant chance to make the playoff (I personally think Aggie gets in over Notre Dame if Clemson blows them out Saturday) are what forced Auburn to dump Gus now IMO.

Damn, new ad is not ****ing around with Chip’s recruiting. Ultimately think he stays. He did lose on the road to oregon and CU and to the best team in the conference so not sure that 3-3 record shows how much better they were on the field.
