They got the ball back with about 1:30 left and the score was 35-10. They were passing and that's when a lot of people were upset in chat. They ended up kicking a fg ending the first half 38-10. Did it show sportsmanship or not to try and get another 7? My take: Sorry guys, this is college football and is the first half. You put teams away and take away all morale if you can. 35-10 is a drubbing, but some teams would think they would have a chance. 42-10 is a strong statement that you are simply outclassed. If we were the ones up 35-10, I bet most of us in chat would say to "put them away." Given that we can't put any team away though--I'm looking at you KU--we've become a pity party. That's up to the coaching staff. In the second half you lay off on teams you've put away, but I've always felt you show up strong and early and I didn't have a problem with it. We just need to stop sucking.
