Series vs. Bakersfield: 1-0 (last season, 85-73, Jan. 2, 2011)
CU vs. Independents: 7-0

QUICKLY: Colorado continues its eight-game home stand with the third game after a 10-game layoff due to final exams • CU had its 27-game home winning streak in non-conference play snapped by Wyoming on Dec. 9. The streak ranks second in school history • After playing Bakersfield, the Buff s turnaround four days later and play Texas Southern. Last season, TSU played at Boulder in the NIT first round losing, 88-74.

CLOSE GAMES
: The Buff aloes are 3-2 over their last five games and are even at 67.0 points per game as an offense and defense. Excluding the 28-point home opener over Fort Lewis College, the Buffs average margin of wins/losses is 5.6 points. Four wins w/out FLC is 17 points (4.3 points); four losses is seven points. (1.8).

CSU BAKERSFIELD
: The Roadrunners come to Boulder sporting a 5-5 record (lost three straight; four of their last five) and playing their third game in five days over three states (Oregon, Idaho, Colorado). Issiah Grayson is the lone player in double figures (11.4 ppg.) in scoring, in addition to leading the team in assists (5.0 apg.). Tyrone White (9.6), Stephon Carter (8.4), and Zach Lamb (8.2) round out the scoring. This game completes a home-and-home over the last two years with CU defeating Bakersfield last season, 85-73 back on Jan. 2. Alec Burks scored 19 points with four others in double figures in the long match up between the two schools. CU shot 49.2 percentage from the field and forced 10 steals. Andre Roberson had 10 rebounds.

PAC-12 NOTES: CU and Washington State have played the fewest home games in the Pac-12 with four • CU is fifth in average attendance in the conference (6,747) • CU is one of eight schools with a winning record • CU’s highest category placing is 3-point FG% .384) • Andre Roberson is first in rebounding (11.8 rpg.); offensive (3.6) and defensive rebounding (8.2); Spencer Dinwiddie is fourth in 3-point FG% (47.6).

IRON MAN: Senior forward Austin Dufault is CU’s ironman having played a team-high 109 games, the most of any CU player on this year’s team. That’s 23th all-time. With 103 career starts, that’s tied for fourth. On the boards, Dufault is steadily moving up the ladder with 413, tied for 37th overall.

HOME COURT
: With the loss Dec. 9 to Wyoming ending the home non-conference winning streak, CU remains stellar at home with a 21-3 mark (.875) over the last two years. This year’s senior class is 42-15 (.712) overall.

By my count Buffs are one of only 7 teams with a winning record in the Pac12... Arizona St, Utah, USC all have losing records, Washington and UCLA are both 5-5. FWIW, we are also only 4-4 against D1 competition, and we still have D3 New Orleans on the schedule.

I'll be at the game tonight, hopefully we come back strong and blow these guys out... will be interesting to see the adjustments (if any) Boyle made going forward.

I'll be there.

If people can make it, please make the effort. With finals over and a Monday night with bad weather, I'm afraid we'll have like 2k people at the game.

I am afraid you are right, I won't be attending tonight due to a holiday party , couple those with the students at home and the weather could be a quiet night at the keg.

(so everybody please tweet play by play updates so I can be the guy hitting refresh on my phone in the corner of the room)

I'll be there with a few friends, headed up now to grab a burger and some beers at the Dark Horse and then a few more beers in the Club Room. Anyone else going to be there?

I'm sure I am right. And I just made it worse. My wife just told me I needed to be home because we've got paperwork going back and forth on a home purchase.

Don't worry, I'll be the guy posting kudos and frustrations like a mad man

Hope they are ready to play, always a focus thing this time of year. Udub found out the hard way. Duke played like trash against UNC Greensboro. Should be a W, cant have another Wyoming.
