@KyleRingo: Colorado football has received a commitment from safety Kyle Trammel from Victorville, Calif. #CUBuffs #recruiting&rdquo

Welcome to the BnG! Even with no info, at least we know he's smart!

Edit: Watched the film. Kid's got a good nose for the ball and is a violent hitter. Laughed out loud when that other dude's helmet popped off.

He has good highlights, but is small. Weird take at this point in the recruiting cycle.

And yet the staff offered him one and he accepted it. This staff has an eye for talent so it's gonna be interesting to see his senior year film but I like the pick up.

Agree.....welcome Kyle!!!! You have jumped on to the return to ****ng dominance of the Buff football program. Hell yes!

I guess this is your new reply in every recruit thread, good to know.

I like his closing speed and the angles he takes. I would like to see a bigger safety, but at this point we have to trust the staff on this guy. He seems to be a legit D1 type of player and he wraps up his tackles well. He just has to not always go for the big hit (or hit high)...that'll draw late hits in the Pac12.

Intense. Getting to a guy before he is even picked up by recruiting services. It will be interesting to see.
He definitely enjoys the hard hit.

Probably some sort of legacy. This staff will bend over frontwards for anyone with a tie in to the glory days.
Not a legacy and they don't bend over frontwards for people with ties to the glory days.

Even if his biggest contribution is in practice his hits may make our offensive players tougher come gameday. We could use a guy like that every few cycles.

I like how he doesn't assume his teammates are going to make a tackle. He just makes it himself.

and when you have guy with the long hair coming out the back of his helmet on your team (mostly played linebacker.) You know he sucks at tackling, so you are gonna have to get it done.

Troy Polamalu disagrees.

Need to see more of his coverage ability, but holy smokes he is a violent player. Don't know about his overall speed either, but that video is awesome.

Ok. I actually finally watched the video so I am no longer just talking out of my ass. The guy looks small and I dunno if that will result in a position change or not. But whatever. Remember a few years ago when we had some guy (was it orms, or mahnke, or someone else?) blow up that guy from Nebraska at the end of the half? This guy's tape reminds me of that play. And that play got me fired up. Looking forward to seeing this guy prove himself in the black and gold.

It was Mahnke. That was awesome!
