Honestly, as much as I love the traditional unis I'm over 40 so my opinion doesn't mean squat on this topic.

One thing I do believe, fwiw, is that the sleeve stripes no longer look right with the new shoulder pad & jersey styles.

Truth.

I love the black AND gold color scheme, but I'm looking forward to some updates.
 
I am about as traditional as it gets, but I am looking forward to some variations as well. There is so much cool stuff that can be done with Black, Gold and Silver. Different combos with the Buffalo being used in different ways. Piping, Lettering, Helmets that use both Gold and black. Pretty excited to see something new. Could be my 15 year old influencing me though
 
Matte black helmets were a good start, using the oversized logo that is so popular right now. Still waiting for a chrome gold facemask like our lacrosse helmets though.
 
Gothic is back in? At least it's black :rolling_eyes:

Honestly, that Northwestern getup is awful.

It's like something you expect to see on a HS team.

As for our Buffs, I'm cool with ditching the shiny black helmets. They just look cheap imo. The matte black looks much sharper, and while I'm not a big fan of ****ing with logos, I get why they did it. I do like our jerseys as is, but the shoulder bars make them look dated I suppose, and I would also like to see silver worked in as well. You know, since it is one of our school colors. But no grey. Never, ever, ever grey.
 
Problem with chrome at this point is that we look like a wannabe who's jumping on the trend. Oregon, UW, **** Baylor, etc, etc. All the cool kids are doing it and we want to be cool too.

Our official colors are silver and gold. Our unofficial third color is black. We can do ****loads of cool things with silver, gold, and black. Why do we have to copycat?

Never mind - apparently I'm old and out of touch.

Pot-themed uniforms to represent CU is actually pretty brilliant.

There are some cool things to do with those colors, but I can't really think of that many options. ****, other schools like Baylor, Oregon, UCLA, etc all just end up using silver, gold, and black with their colors to make up cool uniforms. We can't really do that.
