With Tech and BC losing, I think Colorado has a shot to crack the top 25...
To make matters worse for VT they lost their starting QB Josh Jackson early in the 4th

TCU beating themselves in Austin. 2 second half turnovers....kinda imploding like that 5-6 minute period last week against the buckeyes.

This is fascinating, this VT-ODU game. Got ranked 13th on the strength of??? Another good example of why pre season rankings are bad.

Okay, so BC, aTm, and VT have bad losses and probably drop out. Need one more, IMO, for the Buffs to move in to the Top 25. Possibilities through the rest of today:
- #17 TCU currently losing to Texas 16-24 with 13 left in the 4th (FOX)
- #25 BYU against McNeese St - just kicked off, but not going to worry about that one until there is something of interest. Hint, VT... (ESPN3)
- #24 Michigan St at Indiana, 5:30pm PT kick off (BTN)
- #15 OSU at home against TT, just kicked off - they would have to be embarrassed to fall out, IMO. (FS1)
- #18 Wisconsin at Iowa - this one could be interesting. 6:35pm MT kick off (FOX)
With those, if UT beats TCU then a 3-1 UT probably gets ranked. If Iowa beats Wisconsin, Iowa will be undefeated and will get ranked. Same thing with an undefeated Indiana if it beats Sparty. We aren't likely to be ranked after this week. After next week it's certain if we're 4-0, though.

Only problem is Texas, Iowa, and maybe even Indiana could move in with wins.
Ridiculous joke. No way any rankings should be before week 6. Just another way to control the flow of money.
I got ahead of myself and thought the Buffs were currently 28th. They are 29th. I agree with you guys that one of those, possibly both could pass CU and be ranked when CU is idle.
CU needs 2 of the 5 above to lose, IMO. Even if it is 2 of Texas, Iowa, and Indiana.
Important thing is that programs we think could be there at the end start collecting some losses. I have no doubt that Indiana is going to drop some games. Iowa, too. And it's hard to see UT running the table so the big thing is that this makes the USC loss not seem so bad.
