Bench Montez (9-14 edition)

Coached into what? I'm mildly curious. Either have it, or you don't.
Well then why have coaches?

Coached into better playing. I’m fine if it is a combination of schemes and play calling as well as improved fundamentals.

Whatever helps the offense.

By the way that was the second time you replied to the same post peckerwood.

So what. Can he be coached into doing a few things better? Sure, but that onus doesn't just fall on the staff. It falls on him, as well.

nice article on the "Miracle in Michigan". It may take a miracle for us to be close late in the 4th. Montez will have to play the best game of his career.

always great to see:

I had not heard it mentioned that we tried the same play at the end of the 1st half, so I just watched on YouTube. We did, we made the adjustments, they didn't

Thoughts on Tate Martell as transfer QB... Yay or Nay?
Any takers?
Could he play right away next year?

Only way he could play next year would be if he somehow completed a degree at Miami. I can't imagine he'd get another waiver unless it was to UNLV.

our man Montez needs to play lights ****ing out good today.

if our defense can just manage to not step on their own dicks while they figure out where they are supposed to be, our Buffs have a chance.

i wish to drink vaguely peppermint tasting stripper tears from a plastic gentleman's club chalice in honor of the occasion.

No.

Proud of all these guys for stepping up tonight. Way to finish fellas. Mr. Montez, way to step up, keep it moving.

When it comes to the long ball, Monfo is one badass Mofo.

Well Monfo showed up and played lights out. I think this should be the end of the Bench Montez thread for a while. Although, there were crazy stats put up by a bunch of PAC-12 QBs this week, he should be seriously considered PAC 12 offensive player of the week. Literally, he came of the canvas and provided a knock-out. I think it was genius that he was a captain this week. It showed the coaches confidence in him. Much better than seeing Cody Hawkins go out there game after game.

Props to all the players and coaches.

Cody Hawkins is a great Buff, he was put in a tough situation.

Wait. He “literally” came off the canvas? I saw no canvas on the field in Tempe. Or Boulder. Where is this canvas he literally came up off of?
