Official ****braska Hate Thread

If UND beats The nubs or ends their home sellout streak.

I merely ask to be renamed King Flounder.

North Dakota could very well beat Nebraska.

They shouldn't because Nebraska has better talent and depth but Nebraska also has Frost and with him running the team anything is possible. The rot runs deep and they are a team that is trying to figure out how they will lose. North Dakota knows how to win and Nebraska could easily give them the opportunity.

As to the sellout streak even if they have 25,000 unsold tickets they will call a couple of equipment dealers and promise them a couple player visits if they will buy all the unsold tickets for a dollar each.

The fusker mentality won't let them accept an end to the streak just like it won't let them accept that what worked in the 90's doesn't work now and that they aren't a dream school for top recruits anymore.

This is why when they finally fire Frosty you can count on hearing Alberts and a bunch of others talk about "getting back to husker football," and "returning to tradition" and "within the Husker family" as they again hire somebody connected to a past that is long gone.

62-36 is the first game listed.

Before the Huskers could get bopped around by Miami, however, they suffered a genuine paradigm shift of a loss in Boulder.
If one game can destroy an aura, this game did it.

Could the ****tiness of Sanford and the ****tiness of Dorrell combine to make genius? Kind of like how two negatives combine to make a positive?

Not going to lie, I kind of have a hard time hating this guy. He's been posted here a couple times, and hearing his takes after the games has become a nice cherry on top of what has, at this point, become my regularly scheduled nub hatewatch-into-schadenfreude routine. His deranged fandom and overall getup aside, he usually has some pretty good takes, and has been keyed into their awfulness for a while now. The nubs I actually know in person are still completely all-in on Frost and don't want him to be fired. They really buy into the idea that they're just a couple mistakes away from being CFP champs, and that their problems aren't systemic in nature.

This dude is like this late-dystopian figure, trying to wake up from the hell of his reality, where everywhere he looks and everything he sees is the same dumb, depressing, awful inescapable cornhusker bull****, that he loves very deeply and compassionately inside himself for reasons that feel very far away now. No matter where he turns, he can't get away from the suckitude, and is slowly losing his grip on reality. Meanwhile everyone around him just keeps walking in this dronelike daze, unable to admit anything is truly wrong-- while everyone on the outside looks in and sees the program for the complete dumpster fire it is. He's torn between those two poles to the point that he's having a crisis. Bathrooms aren't just places where people go to ****; they're also where people go to have meltdowns.

Despite what you read in the media and see on internet forums, I think their fanbase is way more divided than we realize. The writing is on the wall-- the dude isn't making it through this season. But that's not obvious to a lot of these well-insulated yokels, who make this guy look pretty bright by comparison. This is going to be a really difficult firing for their fanbase. They'll never not be able to feel conflicted about Frost. They'll each feel a wincing pain at his name. We're right in the middle of the curse we put on them with 62-36, playing out with true repercussions across their program history and legacy. They'll have to collapse completely, and build themselves all the way back up, if they ever want to be decent again. Think of all the great sports curses-- that's what 62-36 is to these people :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

No. This is not NDSU, this is UND and they are not going to hang with Nebraska.
No it isn't NDSU, if it were it might be the best bet of the week.

UND is a solid FCS program. 5-6 last year with a brutal schedule they should be better this year. They are well coached and have some quality players.

By all measures Nebraska should win this game easy but you could have said exactly the same thing about when they played Arkansas State and South Alabama which they barely won or schools like Troy and Northern Illinois which they lost.

Not predicting or betting on a fusker loss but if it happened it wouldn't be a surprise. That is a program that is rotten to the core, the players have accepted losing as the norm and expectation.

Quote the entire post.

Not expecting that to happen and UND was picked to finish 7th in the 11 school MVFC. They struggled to win most of their one possession games in the rugged MVFC last season.
Did we or anyone think that Sacramento State was going to beat a reeling CU team? Again not saying it's going to happen but not going to be shocked if it does.

Will be laughing like crazy if it does but won't be shocked.

Look I haven’t paid much attention to UND. But if Bubba is still HC, you can guarantee a 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense. Hard nosed Defense.

Joke around all you want about not being NDSU, but in 2015 North Dakota beat Wyoming, in Laramie.

In 2017 they played Utah, in SLC, very tough 37-16. Playing a very similar game to the buffs vs Utah 34-13 in 2017.

last year they played Utah State. If they can jump out to a lead like that. Buskers are toast.

UND only returns one all conference player while MO State, NDSU, and SDSU return half a dozen or more in that situation. They do return a QB & RB who has started at least the last couple of seasons but I don’t think it will be enough.

If NU was facing those three teams with that amount of returning talent, they almost certainly would lose.
