Fine by me.

I thought that Bohn would try to re-arrange the Miami,OH game next year to try to get another home game. Maybe he did try that, and the folks at Miami, OH told him to kiss off. I don't know. But that was his only option if he wanted to play the CSU game in Denver.

Good. Maybe CSU will pick Ft. Fun for 2010 and the series can continue where college football belongs - on campus (or on a dirt field 10 miles away from campus if you are CSU).

But we all know what will happen. They'll be outraged, but CSU will still pick Invesco for 2010. They can't afford not to.

“Today I notified CSU Athletic Director Paul Kowalczyk that we would exercise this option,” Said Mr. Bohn who finished by saying,":saythat:!!!"

I think Bohn is trying to do just that. If the Lammies do indeed move the 2010 game to Hughes, I think this series is dead and buried.

I just don't think CSU will do that. They'll have to pay CU the same $650k visitor's fee that they'll get next year. Paying $650k when your stadium only seats 34k is a tall order. That's $19 of every ticket sold going straight to CU.

Not only does Folsom seat 20k more people than Ft. Fun, but CU has higher ticket prices, too.

Way to go Bohn! I can already see CSU pounding their chests: "Oh yeah, well then you gotta play us in Fort Collins in 2010!! Oh...the visiting team fee that CU charges first? I have that right here..."(searching empty pockets finding a rubber band, penny and lint) "Oh yeah, well you gotta play us in Denver in 2010!! So take that!"

CSewe can't afford to have the game in Ft. Fun. The place only holds around 30k. When they look at the loss in $$$ compared to Invesco they will elect to keep the game in Denver.

Right now it's typical lamb fan-feeling no respect so they are going to show everyone they can play hardball.

If they decide keep this game in Ft. Collins I hope it is the end of the series.

I don't care if they play the game in 2010 in Ft. Collins. That is fine with me and it should be fine with every CU fan.

Then, CU needs to go kick the holy ****ing dog **** out of those cocksuckers, hang half a hundred on those bitches in their own ****ing stadium and they'll quit the ****ing game.

Honesty, I hope they do. I want to see Colorado go in there and punk them on their home field in front of the only sellout crowd they will have for the next century. But I bet after another crappy year this year and attendance numbers dwindling down to high school levels they will opt to play at invesco when the time comes. They almost don't have a choice.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm with LT COL.,beat thier ass sunday, next year and kick the living dog $hit out of them at hughes and END IT.

I interpret that differently.

They've unofficially said they'll have it in Ft. Fun, but until a formal announcement is made, it's all speculation.

Everyone thought Romney was gonna be McCain's VP choice, too.

That's what I'm saying. I know they WANT to have the game in Ft. Fun, but I just don't think they'll be able to turn down a $1 million+ payday vs. not very much after paying CU $650k.

That is true. Might all be sabre-rattling on their part, but it seems awfully predictable.
