Colorado v Arizona - November 11, 12pm MT - P12N

We get the ball back with a minute left and a timeout - we have a good chance at winning that game - especially if we made the stop on 3rd down and are only down 3 points.
You are thinking about the missed TD run. I think what we are talking about is even with Mata making the FG, it wasn't guaranteed that we would win. Our Run defense is just awful

I completely agree with you. We need to get a Mason Crosby here. We’ve got a long way to go to being a NC team. Our D should have won ther game for us. What happened to our other kicker whose dad is a former NFL kicker?
I think Mata is far more reliable under 43-44. So he gets the call. Feeley is ok, but there's not much confidence in him. His leg is a bit better, but accuracy isn't. And outside of Boulder I don't think he kicks touchbacks very often either. Maybe they'll both improve, but I'd be going for that Crosby leg/confidence package for sure.

Ugggggggggggggggg. So painful. **** me! But we are making progres.

I honestly thought we were going to be smoked in that game.

I think we win next week.
We’re gonna lose by 27 on the Palouse next week.

Mason Crosby was an elite kicker. I don't mind us going to recruit a guy with that type of accuracy and leg but those guys don't fall off trees.

The reality is, they are a better team than us and should have won. We had a chance though. We hurt ourselves with penalties again.

We never gave up the ball which was good, but we didn't force any either which really could have been the difference in the game much more than the missed field goal.

While it is a loss, it was an improvement over how we have played the last 3 games. For that, I'm happy, since we were tracking the opposite way.

Got to take the good with the bad and all that, and there is good here to see. We definitely have some serious needs this off season though.

On solid not frozen but still somehow slushy ground I'm not that much worse than Mata and that's the ****kng problem

I understand being upset but

Aren't you the same guy that was laughing when I said Arizona was legit like 4 weeks ago?
Absolutely. Did they look legit to you today? We shat the bed multiple times and they still needed a last second fg to win. We’re not a good team and still should’ve won that game.

We got Utah and Wazzu. Can we win these two and shock the world or lose both like everyone expect us too is the question

Yes they looked like a legit bowl team.
I thought so too. They were better than Oregon State. We just played a lot better this game mainly because 2 was fairly healthy

I like their QB. Their OL is legit too. They move exceptionally well and you can run everything with them

this sucks. today was completely winnable. but i still feel something, which is different from most of the last 20 years. we are SO close.

running the ball today helped keep SS2 cleaner. the DL played. The OL fought over their talent. the refs sucked and didnt call the game consistently.

if we roll in 2 new guards and tackles (portal and/or david conner and tyler brown), add more consistent offensive play calling (either sean lewis getting used to P5 athleticism or someone new), add a plus athlete safety, add a couple of true inside LBs, and add a freak athlete pass rusher i think we are a 8-9 win team next year. without even looking at the portal, i think our recruiting is right there (OL will have to be Seaton and portal).

i feel good about the trajectory if CP and staff keep pushing. again, this was a loss that we shouldnt have lost, but we're on the right track

I’ll make this one post then I’ll exit this thread:

MLC DID score. His progress was never stopped. The officials just blew the call. So the subject of what the CU players did or didn’t do is moot and meaningless.

Go away idiot.

Since you don’t seem to understand why your logic is flawed, I will point it out to you.

MLC didn’t score. The play was dead when the refs blew the whistle. Had CU allowed Arizona to score, the refs would not have blown the whistle. And CU would have gotten the ball back with a chance to tie.

The term “moot” means having little or no practical relevance. Since CU’s decision to attempt to stop the score instead of getting the ball back may have affected the outcome of the game, that decision was far from “moot” - unlike most of the poorly-formed thoughts that you post on this board.
