Sunday, September 19th at 4pm: Profile Index is completely up to date, as are all the individual profiles.

Guys, all I've got to say is that Boyle and his staff are doing serious work. I've never seen us this active in recruiting. Exciting times.

How many are we looking/need to pull in this class? I follow FB recruiting closely, but am generally unfamiliar with what entails a "full" BB recruiting class.

We definitely need 4 and we might need 5.

We graduate Levi Knutson (shooting guard), Cory Higgins (shooting guard), Marcus Relphorde (forward/wing). We are also 1 under the scholarship limit because there wasn't another guy we were all that high on in the late signing period this year (Tad found 2, which is impressive for basketball when you're not targeting JUCOs). Finally, it looks like Alec Burks is going to enter the NBA draft after his sophomore year since he's projected in the 1st round and potentially a lottery pick. Burks potentially bumps the number to 5.

That's a huge class for basketball. Very important recruiting year for us.

although it happens often, I'm not a big fan of 5 member recruiting classes. Some higher profile schools are able to do this, because usually some of those players will either declare for the draft or transfer due to playing time. However, CU does not typically recruit kids of this high-caliber, so they'll most likely be staying four years.

I hope we sign four and that's it. Still, this is a huge recruiting year for us. 2012 is big too - lose another four scholarship players. Boyle is doing some good work.

Now it looks like we are going to take 3, maybe 4. Sabatino Chen was awarded a scholarship, so we don't have the extra one. We lose 3 seniors and the likely 4th is Alec Burks going early to the NBA.

There's also some suggestion that Nickerson and Larkin may be a package deal. If so, it's either CU or DePaul.
