Scout rating: NR RB
ESPN rating: NR RB

Reported Offers: Colorado, Cal, Oregon, Washington, Washington State, Nevada

Changed schools from Jefferson Forest in Virginia to Oak Ridge Academy so he could work on his academics. Seems like he got qualified late after programs that had been recruiting him (Miami, North Carolina, Virginia, NC State, East Carolina, South Florida and UCLA) turned elsewhere.

Hall earned all-area, district and conference as a junior after accounting for nearly 1,600-yards of offense and 13 touchdowns.

CU is hosting Hall for a visit this weekend.

Wow. We are doing some serious reaching. But I guess that's the position we are in.

With measurables like his it doesn't seem like much of a reach. Only thing is he seems a bit slow for a RB but I am sure blacken can fix that. Kid is probably in the same boat as our prep QB was. Just no love with the scouting sites

Sometimes you have to call it what it is. The staff is reaching for some players.

Also keep in mind that a visit does not necessarily mean they will be offered. When Hawkins used to do this, it bugged me. But with the sheer number of official visits available to the staff, they can afford to use some of them in this fashion.

I know that we are scraping the barrel in terms of what is out there but he looks pretty good on tape. He is quick. Doesnt avoid contact. And he is BIG. Maybe I am just too used to seeing speedy back there.

Haha thanks and thanks. If we land him and Creer I see a very very potent backfield for the next few years. If EB likes them then so do I.

Giving the benefit of the doubt to EB at this point. I'm sure he's thoroughly evaluated the three RS frosh with an eyeball test, and a deep look into their eyes, not to mention a thorough review of tape on them from High School and Scout Team practices. He's had a thorough discussion with Hagan as well.

So we know EB is definitely looking to sign 1 RB and maybe more... We will see who gets offers and commits at some point.

This guy wouldn't be a 2-star guy from what I can tell if he wasn't off the radar due to grades. Isn't Oak Hill where all the hoops studs go to fix their academics?

What do you think of Creer?

Oak Hill is in VA. He went to Oak Ridge in NC.

Creer looks like he is the stud back that EB wants to get in here. A year to learn the playbook, and let Blacken work on him he could be a star for us.

More video. I think this may be from his sophomore year.

"I still haven't figured out why Rivals.com has Rashad as a two-star prospect because he is a four-star talent," [Oak Ridge Military Academy head coach Otis] Yelverton said. "I have been doing this long enough to know what a four or five-star recruit looks like. I have sent five kids to Cal, three to Oregon, one to Washington State, one to Arizona State, one to Penn State. I was Keenan Allen's high school coach. Rashad is a special talent."

Ya Hall's coach gave him some pretty glowing reviews. For those who don't know Keenan Allen was a 5* ATH last year who committed to the Tide then switched to Cal

Hope the coach is telling the truth and not just trying to sell one of his kids. The point of that school is for kids to get offers, so the school fails when they don't.

Hall is visiting with a teammate and there coach did not speak nearly as highly about the other guy as he did Hall so while some exaggeration probably went into those comments he cleary thinks the kid is a very good player. On a side note rivals is showing that he had offers from Oregon, Cal, Wazzu, and Nevada which seems strange considering that we are his first visit and he is not even ranked by two of the top recrutig services. Are those offers legit or might they have been "self reported".

If you believe this guy has an offer from Oregon, then I've got some nice land in North Dakota to sell you!

I like Creer, not sure he will be a RB at the next level.

I may be in the minority, but I do not think a RB in this class is a necessity.

This kid looks alright though on film huh?

I too don't care if we sign a true RB...but as with Dorian Brown and AMM, we need to sign quality football players. Players' positions in HS may not necessarily be where they play in college. I honestly believe that AMM could have turned into a DT; he's a big boy. This kid is fast enough you could put him at WR, CB and if he likes to hit, S.

The staff has to be reaching a little for players...I say let's take this kid. (I'm not so sure about his teammate though...)

6.0 185 pounds, 4.3 speed, he should be able to add 10-15 pounds and not lose any of that speed. A good prospect that will need to get stronger and study play book for 2 years before he is ready to contribute. Maybe plays on Special teams early.

they have had a month... EB has had less than that. Ruffemupbuff you should have know this cycle wasn't going to be a good one. Hawk left a disaster in his wake. We are lucky we have 3* committing and even some 4* considering us.

We are dredging the bottom of the lowest prospects. Is there any recruiting going on? I think not. Embo and EB better come up with a better effort. I'm not impressed.

Since when is a 2* player the 'bottom of the lowest prospects'? Nice way to welcome a 17year old kid you ***hat.

Get a grip.
