September 17 - Colorado @ Colorado State (Denver)

Cant even sell their student tickets. What a bunch of pussies nothing would make me happier than if we beat them so badly all their fans were gone by half. The only problem with putting it on campus is that fans will want to rush the field when we beat CSewwwww and they are not worthy.
I don't think anyone would be rushing when we beat these clowns.

Denver media starting to lavish CSU with the poor wittle underdog role

In rivalry games there is always a race to the chip on the shoulder. Everyone wants to be the underdog. The fact of the matter in this year's edition of CU vs. CSU is the 2-0 team is underdog to the 0-2 Buffs. And that is all the motivation the Rams need.

On the game itself, I just have this feeling that Speedy is going to go off in the running game. Hell, UNM rushed for 150 on them. If the running game clicks, I can't help but see us just blowing CSU's doors clean off in a scoring frenzy.

I hope your right. We need to finally establish some sort of running game. I think Scooter has been trying, but the OL just isn't opening any holes.

When talking about moving this game back 'on campus', remember Hughes isn't 'on campus', it's in middle of ****ing nowhere, surrounded by mudpit parking lots where CSU fans chug cheap beer err tailgate.

Denver – The Regional Transportation District (RTD) will provide service to and from Sports Authority at Mile High Stadium Saturday, September 17, 2011, for the CU vs. CSU football game which starts at 11:30 a.m. Fans can plan on getting to and from the game quickly and comfortably on RTD’s direct service.

I thought last year was bad. I remember sitting there, baking in the blistering sun, looking around the nearly empty upper deck and thinking, “Where in the heck is everyone?” This time around, it might be even worse.

According to the Denver Post, only 52,000 tickets have been sold for Saturday’s annual showdown between CU and CSU. That means there are nearly 24,000 unsold seats for the Cinch Jeans Rocky Mountain Showdown, almost 9,000 more than in 2011.

Yikes! Unless something changes drastically in the next 24 hours (kickoff is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Saturday morning), that’s going to be an ugly site at Sports Authority Field.

Thus, I thought I would take a moment this morning to issue a challenge to sports fans all along the Front Range. It’s time to get off your collective duffs, snatch up some ducats and get down to the premier college football game in the region.

What’s the excuse this year? The game isn’t on Labor Day weekend. It’s not being played on a Sunday. It’s not a late kickoff. All of the usual reasons cited for skipping the CU-CSU tussle are non-existent. Come on, people!

Take RTD from Boulder. The BV starts running early and you can get off at Union Station and take the light rail from there.

I used to wonder how CSU got a great athletic talent like Joey Porter. Now I know...he's ****ing retarded. Seriously, what the ****?

.....I think you've understated that a bit....nothing funnier to me that Joey Porter being the biggest athlete to come from that school and they have their Locker Rooms named after him....

Am I the only one that feels that his perspective on this game is beyond delusional? Dear Christ, I hope nebraska fans didn't view us this way. [paraphrase porter] It got to the point that Colorado wouldn't even play us any more[/porter]. lol...wut?

TV for the game? If so, what station for the out of state people?

FSN (Southwest, West, Arizona, Houston, Ohio, Detroit)
CSN (Bay Area, Mid-Atlantic, Philadelphia, New England)
MSG+
Root Sports (Pacific Northwest, Rocky Mountain, Pittsburgh)
SportSouth
SunSports

Basically you should be able to get this game. Here in Virginia it'll be on CSN
