'13 CO ATH Ryan Moeller (Committed to Colorado - PWO)

I'm really happy he chose CU. He's one of those athletes that could blossom at the D1 level.

Welcome to the Buff family, Ryan! Colorado high school standouts who walk on here and show the work ethic are quick to become fan favorites.

This is a very solid PWO commit. I could see him being a lethal special teams gunner threat.

Awesome news for us small town folk (and the Buffs)! Hope he can quickly prove himself worthy of a scholarship and playing time - there is plenty of precident for under-the-radar guys coming in and kicking arse!

Love this. Welcome to the Buffs Ryan.

This is the kind of kid who could turn into one of those guys that people wonder how he didn't get a scholly right from the start.

He has the size, the athletic ability, and the work ethic to turn into a FBS level player. It seems like the two questions that kept him from being an offered player were the questions about the level of competition and his eventual position. These are both things that can be overcome.

If nothing else he should be a solid contributor on STs.

Appears to be a great kid and promising player. Win a scholly at CU, we will be rooting for you.

a strong walk on program can really save a team when recruiting doesn't quite work out, or when you need help with solid depth. Good choice Moeller!

Agree. Great pickup and a guy I think could be very solid down the line. Have read that he has a very good work ethic. Look forward to see what he can do.

Welcome to the B&G!

I admit that it is hard to judge his speed based on the opposing talent in his video, but he shows a great motor. So many runs up the middle where he sheds a tackle or initiates the contact. He will earn that scholly as a S if he brings the same effort day in day out.

There are a few plays in there of him at S that show he isn't afraid to deliver a hit, which were fun to see. (Appreciate BuffaloRifle posting the video, btw...)

Really excited to see what he can do at CU.

I like his goal line stop when he lifts the kid up and drives him back 5 yards

want to start off by saying Thank You - not many athletes would walk on, when there are other options available! I also want to say I look forward to watching and rooting for you... Now go earn that scholarship and prove people wrong!
