I saw him in Boulder last week hanging out with Solis. I thought that was a good sign.
Something that couldn't be said about any DL last year.

Kafovalu is a good player and he will be missed, but I don't think he would have started. Carrell and Tupou in front of him. From a depth standpoint, Lopez, Franke and Tuioloma will have to step up. Some of the bigger DE might help out inside like Jackson, Tonz or Umu.
I haven't seen anything. Some assumptions going on here?

My sense is that his career as a Buff is over. If he comes back and contributes it's a bonus.

Sorry if I contributed to misinformation above. Sampson was suspended indefinitely but I guess MM has not stated that he is ineligible to return to the roster prior to the season.
