2018 NCAA tournament thread

I know both teams are very good defensively ... but I also think the poor FG% by both are somewhat due to playing in an oversized arena. I expect both team will shoot better from outside in the second half.

I was thinking the same thing, that would take getting used to.

They don't have an answer for that guy. Either way, Loyola doesn't have anything to hang their heads about, great season for them. Looks like it's over though.

I agree with whoever said they looked tired. The size wore them down it looked like. That and Michigan stopped settling for jumpers.

Wagner was incredible.

I love guys who play angry. Raises the entire team. And I think our Buffs have a few young guys who are like that. (y)

That dude is really skilled. He gets a little stronger, you'd definitely have something at the next level.

Wagner kicked Loyola’s butt. Pulling for Nova in the late game.

Pretty much the whole country will be rooting for Loyola tonight. But historically the Final Four semis is where these runs by low seeds ends -usually lopsided, too.

Turned out somewhat the same way this year all though it didn't happen until late in the game with Michigan outscoring Loyola 38-16 over the last 14 minutes

The problem for Michigan in the final will be if either KU or Nova can get Wagner in early foul trouble ... they need more even scoring than they got from the rest of their lineup tonight. Wagner (24) and Matthews (17) got 44 of UM's 69 points. That won't work against either KU or Nova, especially if fouls come into play early for Wagner.

OK, when a guy is on his back with both feet off the ground it's traveling, right? Just saw a KU guy in that situation not get called for travelling yet A&M got called for travelling in the exact same situation against UNC. I realize that alot of calls like block/charge, travelling, etc. are highly subjective but this particular one should be pretty clear-cut.
