CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

A thread on the ACC's situation... $120m exit fee + the forfeiture of all media rights and airing of any home games for ALL sports until 2036. Also, there's a reason nobody has challenged this in court yet... it's likely not going to be won.

It's hard to imagine, but the ACC could very well be completely ****ed for the next decade and a half

A couple in the thread

Ouch, what? CU is tied for 12th out of 36 P5 programs on that list, right behind North Carolina and ahead of TCU, WVU, Cal, Pitt, ASU, etc. Honestly, much better than I thought, especially considering they only had one winning season during that time.
Fair point, but have to think that the P2’s won’t go past 20 members so 12th isn’t going to cut it (I know this isn’t the only variable).

I could see it stopping at 20, but I also look at that list and the 11 P5 programs ahead of CU and see at least a few that CU is just as attractive as, if not more.

Washington State, Oklahoma State, Louisville, Utah and possibly Stanford.

Regardless, I think CU finds itself as a bubble program if it's a 20 vs 20 setup when the dust settles in a handful of years from now and firmly in if they go to 24 each.

Lol, there's a less than 0% chance Cincinnati is invited to the B1G, and I also find it strange that Arizona is on that list but ASU and Utah aren't in any capacity. Louisville also isn't getting an SEC invite with Kentucky already there, plus nobody is going to help them or Syracuse pay the hundreds of millions each to the ACC for breaking the GoR.

Also, I think it's time the public realizes that if basketball played literally any part in realignment, Kansas, Baylor and Arizona would have been gobbled up already.

These odds are complete trash.
The casinos care about profit and fans are dumb

Maybe a conference would take a chance on us...if we were a 8-10 win team, we'd jump in that list. And we are always near the top of the list of attendance in the PAC12.

Interesting. Almost like there was a proposal to vote on and then new sh!t came to light.
