That "bargain" label would have been "ripoff" the last three years. We paid him to turn the program around. That's what he has done. I think it's been money well spent.

I can't believe how nervous/excited I am to watch the ranking show (5pm, ESPN). This could go a lot of different ways tonight.
less drama than last two years (or even before that) though, yes? I mean, the top four are no-brainers, right?

I'm not so interested in the Top 4. 5-25 is an absolute crap shoot. And we can figure that if this is like most years, at least 2, probably 3, and maybe all 4 of the Top 4 will lose before the season ends. So how the teams behind them line up is huge.

Hokie's a great guy with substandard reading comprehension skills. Knows some **** about music though!

I'm pretty excited to see where CU lands tonight, too. I'm more excited for Thursday's game!

I think the Sooners win that one easily.

he's actually a dick. true, he loves music, but he has zero talent and no formal training in music, thus knows very little. he is working on the reading thing, but it's an upward battle.

How Vegas handicappers rank top 25 college football teams [ESPN]

15. Colorado Buffaloes (Rating: 48.6; Last week: No. 17)
Colorado puts its 8-0 ATS record on the line this week as the Buffaloes are 12.5-point favorites against UCLA. That line has swung dramatically from the preseason. Entering the season, FPI projected UCLA as 13.3 points better than Colorado on a neutral field.

Not bad ... not bad at all. Shows that the committee approaches the rankings with a lot more objectivity than the other polls, and largely disregards pre-season rankings, which they should.

Texas A&M gets the #4 spot, UW left on the outside looking in. Not good for CU's Rose Bowl aspirations if the top 4 all win out.

True. But I think it's fair that Washington was left out. They're strongest win was a lower ranked Utah and a dismantling of a short handed Stanford.
