Dec 18-19 Conference Championships and other games

Although it sounds like as many people on this site are watching the ****braska game as are watching this Pac12 joke.

Please B1G or Big 12 give us a call!
I've said it before, but I get sick of your PAC 12 hate. I get that the conference is not on a great trajectory, but you shower it with disdain even when the conference is solid.

I've always loved watching Pac 10/12 games, even before we were in the conference. I find the Big 10 absolutely boring to watch, and the Big 12 feels pretty dysfunctional. The ACC is fine right now, but you can't discount all of the years that it absolutely sucked. Even when it's good I don't have any interest in watching any ACC game. I just don't have an interest in that conference. I get that you do, and that's fine. I simply bring it up to demonstrate that we all have regional affiliations with conferences. I love the Pac 12 and am indifferent to the ACC.

Give it a break. I think we all know how you feel.

This is a good game. They are both athletic. Bringing the wood. And chippy

USC has Oregon right where they want them. Onside kick and hail mary to win would be the icing on their Pac 12 season

It is also a very unfair criticism.

The problem for the PAC 12 right now is that the league does not have an elite team, a team that belongs in the conversation for the playoffs.

The middle of the league compares the the middle of the other leagues and the bottom is stronger. AZ is bad this year but the PAC doesn't have a Kansas, a Rutgers/Illinois, a Syracuse/Nebraska, Vandy/Arkansas, S.Carolina/etc.

The league doesn't do itself any favors by regularly knocking off it's top teams. It also doesn't help that the league plays one more conference game instead of fattening up on an extra OOC opponent. PAC teams also tend to be more willing than other leagues to play legitimate OOC opponents and to do it away from home.

The SEC and ACC have some outstanding teams but how often do those teams start the season by going across the country to play a contender from another conference?

Agree. Except adds to the horrible image for the conference. Announcers that most CFB fans don’t recognize. Younger generation has zero appreciation for the P12. Take it from my son. He is laughing his ass off. Depressing.

Joe Davis got the PxP gig for the Dodgers when he was 29. You don't take over for a legend like Scully before you're 30 if people think you suck as a broadcast. This is also the third one of these he's worked. He'll take over for Buck (at least in baseball) the minute Buck decides he doesn't want to do that. Helfrich isn't bad-I'm learning from listening to him but he's not as succinct as he could be. If you're complaining about them, you're finding **** to bitch about.

The B1G would be great for CU if the option came up but I also realize that's probably a pipe dream. Unfortunately we're destined to remain stuck in the forgotten conference out west that has become a weekly punchline. And if you're cool with that then power to you. I think it ****ing sucks.

I admit the ACC has benefitted greatly from ND's temporary 1 year residence but they're also 1 of 2 conferences to get a team in the CFP every year.

And I'm not gonna give it a rest because this is a forum, you know where people get to state their opinions.

Aren't we all real about the conference? Unless we get some change, we gotta stay open if we get a call from somebody.

I grew up watching CU in the old Big 8/Big 12. Got an attachment to that league-would prefer to make it work in the Pac if the league can get their head out of their ass.

The ACC is thought of higher than we are because of Clemson. If you put Clemson in the SEC, the ACC is Pac 12 east.

That ACC stat is so misleading though.

They could add us and put Purdue in the east.

USC getting outcoached.
No Way What GIF

Anyone defending that joke of a conference is happy with mediocre football, an apathetic fanbase, and a corrupt conference office.

I miss how CU stood out like a sore thumb in the Big 8/12 and how those people from the plains had long car rides home after CU beat them. Now CU is just another school in the Pac-12 and that sucks. The Pac apathy has settled in nicely and last year's Nebraska game in Boulder still makes me want to puke.

And thank you for making me not watch the rest of the Nubs-Rutgers game because those cornholers just won 28-21.

I'm 100% with @CarolinaBuff about CU leaving the Pac-12 at this point. If you don't like it...TOO BAD!

What's the difference between the Pac 12 and Big 12 other than Oklahoma in the last 10 years?

You are the last poster who should be lecturing anyone on what constitutes "big time" football.
