Sitting here wondering...how in the fvcking blue blazes is a team this talented on the bubble (outside looking in TBH) at this point in this season?
WTAF?

To be fair to CU they are #30 in NET so if the season were to end today it would be difficult to leave them out of the tournament. NC State was left out with a 33 and I believe that is the worst snub of a P6 team. The people putting together the bracket projections must be anticipating CU to perform in such a way that they fall into the high 30/low 40 NET range, in which case there is more of a precedent for leaving them out.

This is a big week because it contains the game that is the biggest prize for the Buffs outside the P12 tournament. Win against Arizona and all of sudden our resume looks good. Beat ASU and lose to UA and this team will need to win all home games and pick up a game in LA. Lose both this week and we need to win the P12 tournament.

Rage away, angry man. Someday you will get what you want and then I will enjoy watching the melt down cause if you think RG is gonna go hire a top level coach I've got some beach front property in Colorado to sell you.

Whose fault is it then that we have 3 true freshmen who can't / don't play and a bunch of JAGs on the bench then? I guess Tad had no say in roster composition.

Tad has this team playing top 30 ball (both kenpom and Net!) despite months of missed time by the top 7 guys in the rotation. 15-7 isn't great, but it is not bad. This team is a bubble team despite those injuries, which suggests Tad should be lauded, not denigrated, for where we are at. Living in a place of rage and disappointment is a choice to make. I guess it makes you happy. Tad does need to bring it home though.

I'm cautiously optimistic at the moment given the remaining schedule. Honest question though: What if we miss the tournament? What's your stance on Tad at that stage? I know mine.

We have 1 Q1 win. We have 2 more chances at Q1 wins: Home vs AZ (loss) and away vs Ore (prob loss).
We have 1 Q3 loss. We have 4 more chances at Q3 losses: vs ASU, vs Cal, vs Furd, and at OSU. This team can find a way to lose one of those.

Even if we hold vs Q3, a 1 Q1 win team ain't making the dance.

Living in reality is something more Buffs fans should try.

Barring catastrophic further injury, Tad would have failed miserably this year and the window for success sure feels like it would be over. Good moving on point. Not a must fire by any means but if he can't win with this team when healthy, the new B12 is going to eat us alive.

If we don't win 23 and make the Dance with this team and the conference level this year, Tad needs to go because you're exactly right, that equates to 17-15 type records for the foreseeable future in the Big 12.

Roger Ayers made his way west this week. Would have to think you want a guy like him on a game like Arizona coming here.

This is the way.

1st game of the week. I assume someone will turn up with something horrible, and we'll find out at 4:55.
Well, at this point every game is a must win. So, these dudes need to nut up or shut up from here on out.

Yeah, really don't want to leave it up to the whims of the committee to get a 27-7 team in the tournament.

The hyperbole is a little strong.
How about their whims re: a 21-12 team with one Quad1 win?

Yes, going 6-5 is down the stretch is different than winning every game for the rest of the season. Do you even listen to yourself?
Do you want me to go in and edit the post to clarify that every game must be considered/played as a must win = no room for error down the stretch?

Make the leap. You know what I meant.
