LAVISKA SHENAULT IS A BAD BAD BAD MAN

What kind of dip**** authoritarian HS basketball coach wouldn't let him play in dreads?
Pretty common down in Texas. My HS coach made everyone wear high and tight military cuts. You had to if you played sports in my hometown. We had a couple kids quit as soon as they got their letter jackets, just so they could grow their hair out and piss the coach off by wearing around the hallways.

Everybody read this. Wow. Viska has a crazy story.

That is a heartbreaking story, but I'm glad it is trending toward a happy ending for the Shenault family.

On a side note, this is my favorite aspect of following college sports. Learning the stories behind the athletes gives me extra motivation to cheer on their success. Go Viska Go!

Wow, knowing more about Viska's story makes me love him more, root for him more, and hope that all the glory of college and hopefully pro football are blessed upon him. Glad he is a Buff, so happy he came to do what he said he wanted to do, and look forward to the rest of the season watching #2 dominate!!!

Chev gets a lot of credit for being so creative with all the roles Viska has on offense. Not all coordinators would do that, and hopefully it shows other ultra talented guys how much fun they can have here.
