If true he had to have been told by Wilcox to look around. EWU was a better job than Cal Poly - to leave EWU for a P5 coordinator job was a stepping stone to a P5 HC job, this would be a step back.

Well, Arky hired Sam Pittman, the UGA OL coach. He has Johnson in his sights a potential OC. There is an update at post 1710 through yesterday afternoon.

I think they have more potential than you give them credit for. They can get kids out of Texas and Arizona. They should also be able to recruit Oklahoma where the top kids go to OU and OSU but the next level is only Tulsa which a mess.

Their big problem is that they don't have much success to sell. They need somebody who can bring some optimism and can keep them positive while they build a program from scratch.

They have ZERO potential. The school and the city are absolutely the bottom of the barrel. Want to watch your football team get rolled by 60, get solicited by a meth head AND have your campus apartment broken into all in the same night? Then ABQ is for YOU!
