Official Allbuffs CFB gambling thread

Yeah, exactly, it seems too obvious. I mean UGA have played 3 patsies and historically choke. You know ND have been working solely on them for 2 weeks straight with the bye in there...

Or maybe it will be 55-20 lol.

UND is going to get pistol whipped in Athens. UGA is one of the premier programs in college football right now. Notre Dame is on the outside looking in.

USC +4 at home vs. Utah. Utah with 82% of the bets but just 51% of the money tells me the sharps like USC.
Sharps can like what they want, Utah's defense is solid and will dominate a freshman led USC team that's looked average at best except against Stanford which could end up being more of an indictment of Stanford than anything. Give me Utah on that one alllllll day.

That noon start time EST for CAL at Ole Miss is a banana skin for the Golden shower bears.

Anyone find a line on Army/Morgan State?

Every mush across the USA loves UGA, The Cowboys, and Pats to cover big spreads with ease.... Most automatic parlay ever, and everyone will be going on nice vacations this winter on the casino dime.
No doubt.

I do a pick six at work for the NFL games every week. Is there an NFL betting thread? I need to win some $ and bragging rights and some of you seem to know what you are talking about. TIA 😁

Old Dominion lost to VT by 14 last week. This spread VS UVA opened at 30.5 and is falling. 28.5 now.

Good call. I may take the weekend off to try and get a better feel for some of these teams.
Good luck with that, some of these teams play how they want to that week. As long as they get the W, they can look like hammered salami doing so.

Damn, didn't really see any games that jumped out this week....... think Vegas has really gone to the machines/advanced analytics programs for their lines since that what a lot the public uses now. My favorite Pac12 line is Stanford +10.5. K.J. Costello should have all the rust/cobwebs out and be ready to ball at a higher level this week at home. Stanford's 2nd team tackles seemed serviceable (both of their starting tackles were out against UCF). Herbert is not good on the road and I also believe Shaw will have his team playing at a higher level back at home. USC +4 now would be my second choice, but not betting on that game.....In Clay we shall not trust but USC should be able to cover as a home dog, they're playing better than I had expected and Utah not as much.

Totally agree. I have Stanford +11 but outside that I don’t love anything. Almost took USC +4 but I just can’t get myself to bet on Helton.

I actually think CU -7.5 isn’t a bad bet. Herm plays games close. Out of their 12 games last year only 3 were bigger than 7 points either way (UTSA - Don’t care about that, Oregon State - They were awful too, and Utah - impressive). Any line with ASU + or - more than a touchdown is going to get a hard look from me.

That goes double against Whittingham......Kyle>Clay by a large factor........USC 1st half would be the better bet....... less time for Utah implement any adjustments and/or for Clay to coach himself out of victory.

No bets yet but thinking about:

Tulane and game under
Texas laying points vs Okie St
Michigan getting points vs Wisconsin
UGA - now waiting on late money to come in on ND

HOU beat Tulane last year 48-17.

Over 56 tonight?

Why do people like Tulane in this game giving points? I don't get it. The Auburn game? Is that why?

Holgo plays slower than previous years. Tulane has some athletes on D. Wind tonight favors under.

Action will be Tulane D vs Houston O. If they contain King, they win. Do they have the athletes?

Joes like Houston, the better known name. Sharps on Tulane (VISN article).

Any thoughts on ND covering +13.5 at UGA?

Like the over in Mets/Rockies tonight and will go against the grain and take the Jets.
That seems like a number designed to sucker a lot of money on to Notre Dame.
