Official ****braska Hate Thread

There're smoking the samething as what CU fans are. Just a bunch of hopeweed.

Frost beat two ranked teams his last two games at UCF. Rhule was 0-11 vs ranked teams at Baylor. Weā€™ve also seen his train wreck at Carolina where they get much better the second he was fired.
Rhule made his reputation at **** Baylor by taking advantage of the ridiculous amount of speed available to recruit in Texas and beating a bunch of OOC teams and mediocre B12 teams by winning with team speed.

News for fusker fans. Frost didn't leave and Rhule isn't recruiting a team that is going to be faster than many of the teams they will face in the B1G.

Rhule, like Frost has a system that relies on beating other teams by taking advantage of superior talent. Doesn't work when you don't have superior talent.

The superior talent that they have managed to recruit over the past few years was last seen by fusker fans in the transfer portal going other places.

I'm kind of amazed more Nub fans don't want to starting rooting for us given Coach Prime.
For the CO college football fans who hate CU because of privileged/liberal Boulder, I have been seeing an uptick in KSU supporters and decline in Nub. Much more success recently and some CO recruits who did very well there.

They're* Surveyor. That Nebraska education coming through for you as it usually does when you grace us with your presence.

And no. I haven't seen a single CU fan talking about the CFP next year. A bowl bid is a reasonable expectation though.
6 wins and a bowl game would be a significant improvement from 2022, especially given the Buffs' strength of schedule in 2023. No CU fan is talking CFP or anything approaching that in 2023. I do think that Colorado will greatly improve in 2024.

For sure.

The big change we have to get used to, though, is now the internal expectations from coaches and players legitimately exceeds fan expectations. They've got their sights on the Pac-12 Championship, which I see as an unrealistic jump.

PAC championship just wont happen in the 2023 season . I really hope to be wrong in this prediction, but I don't think that I am. 2024 could be in play, however.....

I felt like most of these fans pre-Prime. CFB has gone to hell for all but a few.
The last pages are pure gold, Jerry.
The funniest thing about all that is that Nebraskaā€™s OL coach has a brutal rĆ©sumĆ©: one year of OL coach at a tiny private school, to assistant OL coach for the worst OL in the NFL, straight to Nebraska full-time OL coach. I mean, homer Cornnation had this to say about him when he was mysteriously retained (his nephew is the #1 2024 recruit) by Rhule:

Matt Rhule is keeping Donovan Raiola as the offensive line coach. Of all the coaches on Scott Frostā€™s last staff, Raiola would be the one most fans would want to NOT return. Nebraskaā€™s offensive line this past season was the worst I can remember, and I am an old, crusty man. It was atrocious. The guys werenā€™t physical, except for a few bright spots while run blocking later in the season. They couldnā€™t pass block. Any time a defense ran a stunt or a twist, our offensive linemenā€™s heads exploded, resulting in an avalanche of ā€œlookoutā€ blocking.

Meanwhile, OUā€™s OL coach has a monster reputation for getting guys into the NFL. There have been 5-6 players around the country enter the portal and immediately visit Nebraska. Why? Because the word is out that theyā€™re tossing around NIL money. Which Iā€™m not even trying to criticize them for. Did OU ā€œoutbidā€ them for this recruit? Maybe. Or maybe he decided he wanted a surer bet to the NFL and went with a smaller $ offer but for a better coach? But the only reason they were even in the convo was due to NIL. So itā€™s hilarious to see them crying about it.

That decision was 100% about getting Riolaā€™s son, who is a highly touted QB, correct? Seems like there better ways to do that than put him in charge of the OL.
